thank you C&A for this wonderful event. the location – the interior design – the looks – the new collection – everything was great! the dresscode for the event was BOHEMIAN and everyone looked stunning, either wearing lace or crochet, floral prints, long dresses, hats or hairbands!

the catering was fab – tiny soups and burgers, vegipieces, and SWEETS awww.. they were soooo delicious! I had to try at least 3 different kinds and one was better than the one before.

the interior design of the location really brought me into a summer mood. I have never seen such old ANNABELLE magazines and the chairs reminded me of me grandmas camping gear (in a good way) – there were flowers everywhere – it all looked super nice!

Jessy and I had a wonderful night, we met Regine from gine.ch and Stefanie from herfield and thanks to Larissa we found our way back to the main station Zurich HB.

I took photos of the fashionshow and the performance of Zazou Mall – soon I will upload these photos aswell.. I just had issues with the camera and therefore the photos will need to go thru bridge first. stay tuned. xx

It is that time of the year again, the graduate class is showing their work.
A bit of a weird welcome in front of the hall, where everybody was asked to cover their shoes with some ugly white cotton bags. Well, the reason why we all saw inside the hall… white carpet everywhere.. but seriously, when you choose a white carpet you can not ask the people to cover their shoes.. I mean its fashion but this is clearly NOT – so you should accept the fact that white carpet will get dirty and live with that fact. the hall was not only covered in white carpet they also used a fogmachine which made it very difficult to breath inside.. so after these rather unpleasant things in the beginning I was eager to see great fashion. And happily this was the case – I saw many nice pieces!

I met Carlos Couto – www.carlos-couto.com a portuguese designer at the International Fashionshowcase 2014 where he showed his gorgeous pieces at the BLOOM showroom of Portugal. I fell in love with the white dress and coat with the amazing needle pattern. Hopefully I can style these gorgeous pieces for my blog one day – I already have a perfect outfit in mind. lets see what the future brings!

I enjoyed my stay in London at Citizen M Bankside Hotel. My room was in the 4th floor, number 406 with a kingsize bed, a nice little desk and a quiet big bathroom. When I got into my room there was a tablet next to my bed displaying: “Welcome citizen Lea” – so sweet!! this tablet is helpful to navigate air and heating and to explore more about citizen M. there is freewifi and lots of movies to watch for free. too bad I didnt have time to check their medialibrary..

as I was in London for the fashionweek I was very happy to use the computers in the lobby. so for me it was if I was working at home because they had a nice iMac, like mine at home. also printing my tickets to the shows was not a problem. thank you so much again for having me as your guest. I felt very welcome!

the lobby has a bookshop, a bar, lots of places to sit and relax; tables, armchairs and couchs. I really love the interior design. lots of things to see. check the gorgeous lamps and books for instance.

a very lovely space is the inner courtyard with the lamps. my rooms view was directly into the courtyard – gorgeous!

on Valentines day they slipped a little love note under my door, that was just too cute! xx

his collection is inspired by the early baroque painter Artemisia Gentileschi and has a very dark approach with a lot of black and heavy, stiff materials. what I really liked were the coats jackets and blazers. LONDON FASHION WEEK

so, it was time to check out London Fashion Week and I can tell u I had a lot of fun. I arrived in London on February 13, so I had one day to prepare myself for the next day, the start of the London Fashion Week. I stay in the beautiful Citizen M boutique hotel at Southbank. I will show you the hotel in a upcoming post. so, lets get back to fashion, the main fashionshows are hosted at SOMERSETHOUSE. Nearest tube station is temple. I arrived there and had to stay in line to pick up my presscard inorder to enter the shows, showrooms and medialounges. once I was registered I had to go and meet my friend Ania, who works at Paul Smith inside Royal Exchange. She took the photos above and we went for a quick coffee.
