I SEE RED – I DANCE AND SMILE!

I see red

last weekend I was in KARLSRUHE for the #kbreise15 and it was a blast. I met lots of nice bloggers and saw many nice things. I already put all my impressions in one post and soon there will be part two of the days in BASEL, where I actually wanted to blog about the new awesome MARLENE DUMAS exhibition but due to photoright issues I will focus on the guy with the special story about a remote island that might not even exist and spices that bring you around the world. stay tuned for that. until then I wanna show you my new outfit inspiration, what do you think of the combination of red and brown? I love it!

I have stuff! and some things are so old, like this red GUESS dress that I am wearing today. I bought it in the US in 2003! some things are meant to last! : )

SUMMER INSPIRATION

whilst strolling thru the web I found this awesome baby blue top by STREET ONE and I just had to share it with you. it is the perfect key piece for a great summer look and I found two very nice ways to wear it. the first one is a casual everyday look for a rather swiss summer day and the other one is a chic everyday look for a hot day. the best thing is that you can mix this top with so many things you already have in your wardrobe.  baby blue top

so as you can see for this casual look you need black pumps and blue skinny jeans – thats it. of course you can add accessories like jewelry or a nice handbag but the basic look can be achieved by combining these three items.

baby blue top

here I am showing a very easy and summery look and I know that a lot of you are not so keen on wearing white but in fact it is such a perfect color for a hot summer day! I love the combo of white beige and babyblue. also in this case the outfit can be accessorized with jewelry or a nice handbag.

in case you like the top it is on SALE (-40%) and also available in other colors:

this weekend I was in KARLSRUHE (read more here >>) and I was wearing the top with black 7/8 pants and black BIRKENSTOCK shoes, unfortunately I could not take a proper photo but I think you can see what you need to see in the one below : )

TIPS:

# since this top has very thin straps I recommend to wear a strapless bra – it just looks a lot nicer when there are only the straps of the shirt.

# do you like the layering look? if so then choose a bigger size and layer it with other singlets or another similar top.

# in or out ? you can wear this top inside a high waist skirt meaning to tuck it in in the front or back. BUT it can also be worn outside, meaning over a skinny jeans.

there are many other ways to wear this top and of course I will keep you posted about that. just stay up to date with my blog.

CLINIQUE superdefense SPF 20

Jaswant – 35 – fashion consultant / mom says:
(type 3,4 combination oily to oily)

“first of all, the texture is really light and makes the cream easy to apply. the cream absorbs immediately, so I was able to apply my foundation right away, making this cream a perfect base, as my make up lasted longer than before. after applying I noticed a general firming effect, which lasted all day. during long and intense days at work, with occasional stressful moments, I never felt any dryness or lines appear. I never felt greasy, shiny or my make up fading away through sweating. Also the spots I noticed at night sometimes were limited to only one. so far I would say this is the perfect cream for me at the moment.”

Lea – 30 wardrobestylist / blogger says:
(type 1,2 very dry to combination)

“I started to use the cream last sunday morning and I really like the consistency and texture of the cream. the fact that the cream has SPF 20 is amazing because we all know how important it is to protect the skin from the UVA and UVB rays. superdefense SPF 20 is very creamy but not too heavy, super nice and easy to apply and it leaves a very soft base. I think its very important not to use too much cream because it easily makes the skin look too shiny. I had to wait a few minutes before I could apply my foundation in order to let the cream set and dry. I applied my M.A.C face and body foundation (light coverage) and it worked well with the cream. it leaves a dewy finish even after applying my foundation and after setting my foundation with powder. my skin is always behaving cray cray during this one special lady moment of each month and therefore its hard for me to say whether the blemishes are caused by the cream or not. I will for sure continue to use the cream for a week and will then answer the questions we have set in the first blogpost and I will be able to give a better review about the clinique superdefense SPF 20.”

stay tuned! xx
