CRISS CROSS moments!

for the readers among you that remember criss cross and how they wore their pants the wrong way around I had exactly such a moment when I was wearing this outfit last week. 🙂

the gorgeous black PARENTI’S cashemere sweater has a HUGE V-neck and I really didnt feel like wearing a top below or taping the sweater to my boobs – so I took a criss cross decision and wore the sweater the wrong way around and it actually didnt feel so bad at all and also it didnt look too bad either. for future times I would totally do it the same way!

spring in sight! today I wanna show you a nice mix of my beloved roy lichtenstein pattern coat, a simple black dress and 2 bright accessories: my red shoes and my red hat! I mean it doesnt have to be a comic pattern coat – it could be any kind of pattern or mix of bright colors that can be combined with black and one of the colors from the coat. in my case it was red black and the pattern from the coat!

I am so in love with that coat and I was wearing it in Paris during fashion in october 2013 and IT caught some nice attention. BIG thanks you to Julie’s mom for the hand me down of that very coat! big chunky boots – I love it and I am totally aware that this is not everyones cup of tea. I found these on SALE last year and I can not remember where I have found them and there is no label in or outside the shoes. a combination that always works for me is black and red – they go very nicely together and complement eachother.

another thing is wearing too many accessories and this is actually hardly ever gonna happen to me as I barely wear too much jewelry or any jewelry at all. so in fact this is something to work on – wearing a bit more accessories 🙂 but when I am wearing such chunky red boots I feel that it would be too much for an every day outfit.

another simple outfit that I was wearing last week. I am super happy with my new wool coat that I found on SALE at h&m for 30 CHF instead of 79.90 CHF. what a bargain!

I had a productive and relaxing sunday afternoon – I slept in and then shot an outfit for a next weeks blog post – then I cleaned the apartment, cooked a delicious curry and went for a nice bike ride with my love and finally found time to upload this outfit post besides that I am editing today’s photos and watching my favorite YouTube beauty gurus

possible NYE outfit

so 2014 is coming to an end and I wanna thank you for an awesome year with isawsomethingnice.ch <3 today I am going sledding with friends and will hopefully have an awesome time on the slopes. I got up super early to enjoy the day to the fullest. keep up to date with me via my FB page where I will post photos of us snow bunnies. as soon as I will be back at home I will change and take photos of my NYE outfit.

this is one possible outfit. as I will have a lovely dinner at home I can wear something less winter-ish – at least for the dinner. in my city there is always a firework on the river and I might go and check that out – so for sure there I will consider a warmer outfit. HAPPY NEW YEAR my friends! xx

I found something nice – some super comfy black wool pants! as I sit a lot in front of the computer it is very important for me to wear comfortable things. so when I saw these pants I knew I had to have them. todays look is a mix bewtween elegant and casual. the heels could be easily replaced with a nice pair of flats.

I was so inspired by this lovely photo via tumblr that I had to wear something similar. of course I did not want to copy the complete outfit but pick up some pieces like the pants and the coat – colorwise I think I could have done a bit more but hey – these are the clothes I have and I need to work with them. the funny thing about those super old H&M pants is that many times they were on the way out and were very close to being sold at the fleamarket but somehow they have always found back the way to my closet and today I am very happy that they did.

…and how I spend my sunday afternoon

I wanna present you my lovely grey bag called BOMBATA. it fits my ipad or it could also fit a laptop and thats what it is actually meant to be for – a business bag. BUT of course I wouldnt like a bag only for one purpose so I decided to make the BOMBATA business bag a bit more fashion 🙂 by wearing it like a normal bag.

I wore my grey BOMBATA yesterday and I have spent such a lovely afternoon in the sun at KABAR in Basel. sooo wonderful that October brings such nice weather! and did you spot my big watch? isnt it a super nice piece? Its made and designed by ADVOLAT a swiss watch brand based in Basel. I will soon show you the whole outfit. stay tuned. xx

unfortunately I couldnt go to Paris this year to visit the fashionweek as I am not feeling too well at the moment.
