KNEIPP® CRYSTAL

KNEIPP

GLÜCKLICHE AUSZEIT (happy time out)
it promises relaxation for beautiful moments with help of
red poppy and hemp

what a color – OMG – I was first worried that it s gonna stain my bath tub but nope it didnt! a great bath for relaxing, perfect before going to bed.

KNEIPP

WALDSPAZIERGANG (forest walk)
it promises to breath deeply and recharge relaxation and this with the help of
pine and fir

another one that is perfect before going to bed, it relaxed me completely and I had an amazingly deep sleep. the color of the water is a nice subtle green, and it didnt stain my bath tub, yay!

KNEIPP

ENTSPANNUNG PUR (pure relaxation)
it promises to calm one down with help of
melissa

with help of the blue water I completely shut down and almost fell asleep in the tub. so also this bugger is perfect before sleeping and also didnt stain my tub.

KNEIPP

JUNGBRUNNEN (fountain of youth)
it promises to stimulate the senses and new drive with helo of
pomegranate and amaranth oil
so far this is the only one that I would not recommend using before sleeping. its one to start the weekend, perfect for a morning bath. look at the color, it is even brighter than the first one and also didnt stain my tub.

overall I am very very pleased with the KNEIPP® Badekristalle and I will try out more of them. I am a bath tub person and I love my weekend baths. before I was using either LUSH or the DRESDNER essence, read more about them here >> and here >> I found them at MIGROS and MUELLER and they cost between 1.50 CHF and 1.70 CHF) the variety is huge, lets see what I end up next with. stay tuned. PINK BOMB

pinkbomb
last week I went to the STÜCKI shopping center in basel and it is one of these places where I go with my mom, we always have a nice parkingspot right in front of the entrance and we can talk about private stuff, grab a delicious juice and walk around. there is hardly anybody in the shopping center, ever since it has opened so many shops have closed and half of the second floor is closed.. so it is quiet a drag to see that but really cool to go shopping as you have all the space for yourself and there will be always a free changing room : ) so when I was there last week I saw the big SALE sign at the WE shop and below there was this cool rosa dress for 15 CHF – what a pink bomb bargain! this made me so happy that I had to dance a little bit for you!

the dress i made out of polyester but it feels super soft and comfortable – it is one of these dresses that you put on and you are ready to go. BUT you of course you would have to like pink. for the people from BASEL in case you like the dress – go to the WE shop at STÜCKI they still had a bout 10 to 15 dresses there 🙂 I mean for 15 CHF thats an awesome price!

as you can see I have recovered from my bike accident and now I have to wait for the bruises to heal. excuse my knee and my elbow – I didnt feel like photoshopping it : ) I hope you all have a nice sunday and try to enjoy this long weekend to the max.in case you are bored then have a look at the different categories (fashion / design / beauty / lifestyle / events / art  / men / social media) and I am sure you will find some nice things there. enjoy! SIMONE’S HAPPY HEMPSEED SPLODGES

IMG_7059

nomnom.. today I did something really nice: I baked with my dear friend Simone and I just had to share her delicious recipe with you. as I am a vegetarian I often ask myself if I get enough proteins thru my daily food. Simone is a chef and she knows a lot about food and nutrition and she told me that by eating a couple of those delicious HEMPSEED SPLUDGES I make sure to cover my daily protein dose. a couple of days ago she brought me a jar of her yummie home made spludges and thats when I knew that I wanna find out about how to make those myself, and of course I had to include all of you because sharing is caring, right?

IMG_6895

shoppinglist

250 g OATMEAL
40 g FLAX SEED
40 g SUNFLOWER SEED
40 g HEMPSEED (peeled)
40 g APRICOT (dried)
3 Tablespoon HONEY
3 egg white

IMG_6949

step one: MIX the oatmeal, the seeds and the apricots in a big bowl. step two: ADD the egg white and honey. step three: HEAT the oven 120 °C (convection oven) step four: SCOOP tiny splodges to a baking paper on a baking tray. step five: WAIT 25 minutes and let them cool before you touch them – otherwise they might break..

IMG_6952

that was a very easy recipe, right? I am eating one of the spludges right now and it is just delicious. mmmhhmmm.. NOTE in case you want to make a vegan version then you can use vegan egg white  instead of the egg white and use stevia instead of the honey. for more protein power you can exchange one of the seeds with roasted soy beans and for more crunchiness you can add some chopped walnuts. enjoy baking and have a lovely weekend! getting ready for the weekend baby! yes, in fact I am but I also wanna share with you something new. one thing that has completely changed is my opinion about ironing. wow – ever since I had my hands on this new TEFAL steam ironing station I knew that ironing was not what I thought it was. I was using a very old JURA iron and it took forever to iron a shirt – therefore I hardly ever ironed – only when I really really had to.  BUT now I got this TEFAL steam iron that heats up in 2 minutes and I am super happy – thank you TEFAL for changing my life!! the station is super easy to use as it has 3 different options: jeans – normal – delicate. it has an auto clean iron and the anticalk function but the coolest thing is that it is an ECO model meaning that I use 25% less energy than before. more info about the station here.

can you guess what I will be wearing tonight? I found this lovely sexy black negligee by maddison at MANOR and it is the perfect thing to wear under a dress that has no space for a padded bra and it is amazingly comfortable to wear and everything stays put. actually it is a nightgown but I am known to use things a bit differently 🙂 I am going to wear it under the beautiful ACNE dress that I ironed in 3 minutes this morning. happy weekend! xx

HAPPY SANTA CLAUS

today I started my day with the LUSH SANTA’s lip scrub and lip tint. mmmhhmm what a christmassy smell and what a bright red! I used my finger to apply the lip tint and it totally stained my finger so I would recommend to use a lip brush to apply the tint. now I will eat my GRÄTTIMAA wishing you all a happy SANTA CLAUS and stay tuned for todays outfit. xx

BLICKFANG BASEL 2014

it was the BLICKFANG weekend in Basel and I had a good time strolling around looking for nice things to share with you among my blog. I saw a lot, a lot of nice and rather not so nice things, a lot of jewelry, clothes and furniture. At the exit I was asked to write an article for WOHNREVUE about the Blickfang visit. I did it – you can read my article here: http://blog.wohnrevue.ch/journal/2014/5/11/leserreporter-lea-blickfang.html

I liked this BLOG & WIN idea by WOHNREVUE and hopefull I will be one of the lucky winners. lets see, fingers crossed!

so what I am doing right now, I am going thru all my photos taken at Blickfang and will show you my 3 favorite things. stay tuned! xx
