DermatoCLEAN TONIC and EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

DermatoCLEAN TONIC and EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

DermatoCLEAN TONIC and EYE MAKEUP REMOVER
I got asked to check out some Eucerin products and chose to explore the benefits and purposes of the DermatoCLEAN tonic and eye makeup remover. I have only heard great things about the Eucerin but have so far never used any of their products. Now lets see what I have found out about the tonic and eye makeup remover.

DermatoCLEAN TONIC and EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

DermatoCLEAN TONIC
It claims to gently remove all cleanser traces and lets the skin breathe more easily. Furthermore it has been tested on sensitive skin. This is a big PLUS. So many people have sensitive skin, including me. And therefore it is always great to hear that a product has been tested for exactly this kind of skin type.
The main reason to use a tonic after cleansing ones face is to prepare the skin better for regeneration and the following serums and or creams. The skin feels noticeably clean and soothed and clearly delicate and supple. I have loved their tonic and was surprised to read that it is for all skin types, eventhough it was tested for sensitive skin. Another great thing is that the tonic contains no alcohol. The biggest results and benefits of using a tonic are to let the skin breathe. By daily using a tonic before moisturizing the oxygen uptake improves significantly. And therefore the skin moisture improves too.
In case you have never used a tonic before, here is how you would use it.
Apply to a cotton pad and wipe gently over the face, neck and décolleté to prepare the skin optimally for the absorption of the next active ingredients. In my case I stopped using cotton pads and am using the JEMAKO pads instead. Like this I produce less trash and do something for a better place to live on. I can highly recommend them to you.

DermatoCLEAN TONIC and EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

I have read that Eucerin has performed scientific tests and conducted controlled application studies with participants between the ages of 18 and 75.
Now here is a list of the ingredients. I love the fact that they are listed on their website and also very nicely described here >>
  • Aqua
  • Dipropylene Glycol
  • Glyceryl Glucoside
  • Glycerin
  • Sodium Hyaluronate
  • Decyl Glucoside
  • Sodium Citrate
  • Citric Acid
  • Cocamidopropyl Betaine
  • Trisodium EDTA
  • Sodium Chloride
  • 1,2-Hexanediol
  • Phenoxyethanol

DermatoCLEAN TONIC and EYE MAKEUP REMOVER
DermatoCLEAN EYE MAKEUP REMOVER
It claims to remove gently and thoroughly ones eye make-up and water-resistant mascara. Especially with summer ahead, a lot of women are using waterproof mascaras and are in need for a good and gentle remover. A non-greasy, two-phase formula comprising: an upper layer for removing water-proof make-up and a lower layer for removing water-soluble make-up. By shaking it the two phases are getting activated and are ready to be used.
Eyes are the windows to our souls. I love that saying and totally agree. We can see if someone is tired or sad by looking into their eyes. Also one can tell if someone is taking good care of their skin. The eye area has super sensitive skin and it is very important to be very gentle. Like the tonic also the eye makeup remover has been tested on sensitive skin. And aswell it claims to be for all skin types. I was very happy to read that they have conducted controlled application studies with participants aged 18 to 75 who had partially sensitive skin.
I guess its clear to everyone how to use eyemakeup remover, but one never knows. So here we go: Shake well to mix the two phases. Apply to a cotton pad. Gently wipe from the inside outwards over the eye area until no remover is left on the cotton pad.
  • Aqua
  • Isododecane
  • Cyclomethicone
  • Isopropyl Palmitate
  • Glycerin
  • Glyceryl Glucoside
  • Sodium Hyaluronate
  • Sodium Chloride
  • Menthoxypropanediol
  • Trisodium EDTA
  • Phenoxyethanol
  • Behenyl Alcohol
  • CI 61565
I hope you have found this blogpost interesting. In case you have a favorite product by Eucerin, please share it with all of us in the comments. Have a lovely day. X

eye lash extension at kosmetik jessica

EYE LASH extension at KOSMETIK JESSICA

I got an eye lash extension at Kosmetik Jessica in Liestal and I absolutely love the result. So without further ado I want to show you how she did it and wanna tell you a bit more about my extensions.

eye lash extension at KOSMETIK JESSICA in LIESTAL:
This photo was taken right after I had the lash extension done. My eyes were a bit watery but that was the only negative side affect that I have experienced. As I mentioned in the video, I went back and had a full set applied. In the video and in the photo below there are only a few lashes added. I naturally have nice lashes and I hardly ever wear mascara but the thing that I had to do every day was using the eye lash curler. My lashes are long but rather straight. So in my case the eye lash extension gives me this lovely lift and curled lashes.
Jessica is able to extend your lashes for up to 2 mm. In case you think that this is not enough then she is not the right person for you. but actually 2 mm makes quiet a difference. In fact the extension is not about length, its about volume, lift and curl. I acheived all of this with the 1 to 1 eye lash extension method. Jessica glued a fake lash to my natural lash. There is also the fan lash extension where she glues 3 smaller and thinner lashes to one of your natural lashes. The 1 to 1 is more casual and not as dramatic as the fan lash or also called 3D lash extension.

eyelash extension at Kosmetik Jessica

The lashes fall out, either together with your natural lashes or sometimes they can also fall out without your natural lashes. I kept almost all the lashes that fell out. As you can see in the photo below, there are lashes with natural lashes and some without. Every morning I brush my lashes with the spoolie brush that I got from Jessica. I really recommend to do that at least once a day in order to keep the lashes nicely and separated. The lash extension feels very natural, this really surprised me. I can still rub my eyes and I can clean my face like I did before. The only thing to change is to not use any oily makeUp remover around the eyes. Jessica is using GL Alessandro lashes and that’s also where she has learned how to do extensions.

In case you are from Basel or Basel-Land and you are thinking about a lash extension then you should def check out Kosmetik Jessica’s website. Besides the eye lash extension she also does sugar hair removing and brow shaping with the oriental thread method. At the moment she is going to school to become a cosmetician. So soon she will be able to do lots more.

SENSAI SILKY DESIGN ROUGE

SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI 6 SENSAI

wow, these are the new SENSAI SILKY DESIGN ROUGE lipsticks! great colors and a creamy finish, exactly the things that I want from a lipstick. there are different red and they claim that there is a red for every woman. I love wearing red lips and now I got 6 more red lipsticks. below you can see the swatches and I gotta say that some of the colors are a bit too similar. I really like the first, third and last color and will need to find the right moment for the others to wear.

SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI SENSAI

the colors lasted for quiet a while on my lips and felt really comfortable. it was very easy to apply them and I really like the silky finish. thank you so much for letting me try these and write about them before they are out. <3 as I read in the press kit this collection will be out by APRIL 2016. I am sure you will see me wearing these new red lipsticks on my blog and social media channels. I am curious to know which one is your favorite color. X

a new winning team

I tried out something new and now it is finally the time to share it with you. I got two nice things by MAX FACTOR X and had fun playing around. as you can see from the caption of this blogpost, I really like both of the things. so lets first have a look what I am talking about:

MAX FACTOR X
MIRACLE MATCH foundation
50 natural

MAX FACTOR X
SMOKEY EYE DRAMA KIT
04 luxe lilas
MAX FACTOR X
so lets start with the eye shadow kit. a great palette for green and hazel brown eyes as it brings out the green due to the purple and lilac color shades. I wanna quickly review the shades from left to right: the first shade is an awesome base color and eyebrow bone highlighter. it can be used for a very natural eye look for a very simple and nude makeup. then we have the two lilac purple colors that are great to play with around the lash line or use it as a V in the outer eye corner for a more dramatic and smokey look. the last color is like the first one an awesome base color or can be used to give some definition to the crease. for an inbetween look I would suggest using the first and last color, using the first one as a base and on the eye brow bone and the last one to shade the crease. voila! thats it, one palette with multiple options for different looks. and now lets talk about the foundation, it is a foundation with a great coverage. perfect for people with redness or want to cover blemishes. I got the 50 natural shade and it is a tint to light for me. so I can only use a tiny bit and apply a ver light layer and then use bronzing powder and blush to bring back my face color. but winter has only started and my bikini lines are fading, I am sure my face will be lighter in two months and that it then will be the perfect shade. I will try to show you my created looks via my social media channels, which you can also access via the blog by clicking here >>

NEW COLORS

Sally Hansen News

SALON MANICURE:

240 DECK THE HALLS
220 RIBBON CANDY
250 RUM-PA-PUM PLUM

MIRACLE GEL:

500 MAD WOMEN
560 SPICE AGE
590 RUBBY SHIMMERS

these are the new colors of SALLY HANSEN that I have tried out and I really love them. I love the fact that their nail polishes have wide brushes for an almost one stroke apply (I have small nails) and this makes your manicure so much easier. another fact that I like about SALLY HANSEN is that they are specialized in nailpolishes only and that their polishes last, even the SALON MANICURE lasts at least a week without chipping. a week of using my hands, washing them, cleaning and just doing every day things and my nailpolish stays put. of course I can not compare them to the real GEL nailpolishes where you need a lamp.

so let me put it like that. If you are a person that is aware of the chemicals in nail polishes then I think you might like KURE BAZAAR (4free) a lot better but this said their polishes dont last as long on my nails. if you are a person with the urge to change your nail color frequently then SALLY HANSEN is totally your thing as you can easily remove and apply their polishes, without a lamp, and they last a good week or longer. so if you are a very busy person that has very little time but feels the need to have a nice and proper manicure then the GEL nailpolishes, that you use with a lamp and are instantly dry afterwards, are the perfect thing for you! that was it from today. have a lovely day. READY FOR THE STICK ?

makeup in a stick1 SMASHBOX L.A. LIGHTS / beverly hills blush
2 NYX / wonder stick WS04

these sticks are perfect for on the go. the things that come in handy when travelling or putting together a touchup makeup bag for your purse. I love it when makeup becomes convenient and thats very much the case with these two buggers. the SMASHBOX L.A. LIGHTS blush stick is also for the lips, so its a 2in1 product, yay! the NYX wonder stick is great for contouring and highlighting. first I thought I could use the light color as a concealer but noo, I would not advise to do so, as it has a shimmery texture and finish to it. so as I said, both of these products are great for on the way as they will not leak nor break due to their smart packaging.

what I got in my makeUp bag:

eyelash curler
concealer
smashbox blush and cheek stick
NYX wonder stick
lip balm

whats in your makeUp bag? let me know. sharing is caring, right? X

MY FAVORITE BRONZING POWDERS

my favorite bronzing powders

#1 MACCOSMETICS wash&dry collection
MATTE BRONZE

#2 CLINIQUE true bronze
02 SUNKISSED

#3 ESTÉE LAUDER bronze goddess
02 MEDIUM

these are my favorite bronzing powders – I use for sure one of them every day. I am a huge bronzing powder fan and also love the new sculpting/contouring trend. eventhough the look very similar in the photo above, they are in fact not. #1 is a matte bronzing powder with absolutely no glitter or shine, this is perfect for all year around and is also a great color to use as an eyeshadow. #2 this one has a tiny bit of shimmer and glitter and is a touch warmer than the one previously mentioned. I dont like the brush that comes with it, somehow I was not able to achieve a nice and smooth looking bronzing/contouring with it. #3 this bronzing powder is a great mix between the first and second, it is not shimmery and has no glitter and shine but it is also not absolutely matte. a wonderful bronzing powder for throughout the year.

6 EcoTools Large Powder Brush

WHY AND FOR WHAT?

these are my favorite brushes and I almost use them on a daily basis. and now I wanna tell you why and for what I love them so much. #1 has the perfect shape for around the eyes and nose, I use it for powder, foundation or concealer. #2 this brush is an allrounder, I use it for highlighter, for blush, to blend contouring, for concealing and for foundation. #3 my go to sculpting brush, it has the perfect shape for my cheeks, jawline and forehead. #4 I use this bugger to smudge my eyeliner, to apply eyeshadow under the eyes and to conceal blemishes. #5 my number one blending brush, it works like magic, I use it for the crease and move with windshield wiping strokes to perfectly blend the shadows. #6 this one is perfect for loose or compact powder, I use it allover the face.

I tried it out and ordered some nice things for my mom, the service is great, fast delivery and extra goodies. have a lovely monday and I would love to know which are your favorite brushes. please leave a comment. sharing is caring, right?
