as you read in my previous post I am currently in Romania where I have spent a lovely Craciun = Christmas in Brasov and am now enjoying some days in Bucharest.
in BRASOV you should definitely visit the old city center with the gorgeous old houses and the black church and stroll around the streets. BRASOV has the third narrowest street in Europe (told by our cab driver) STRADA SFORII (means rope street and is between 111 and 135 cm wide and about 80 meters long.)
I saw so many beautiful houses and when you go a bit outside of the old city center you will see houses that are abandoned or half done. I find Brasov a very picturesque city and I have to go back and take photos of all the beautiful gates and doors. we started the day with ZOOM SERIE which opened 5 days ago and is famous for their sweets. they have an awesome list of fresh teas and make fresh juice. I can totally recommend the juice with banana, apple and oranges, the SWEET NOVEMBER tea, I hope I remember that tea correctly : ) its the one with hibiscus and berries and their BROWNIES. mmmhhmm! we ate very well at BISTRO DEL ARTE and HOCKEY PUB, in general the food was very delicious. as a vegetarian I was warned that Romania is the country of meat and cheese, two things I don’t like at all. but as I said I could not complain there were vegetarian dishes on the menu. a local vegetarian dish is ZACUSCA 🙂 another place that I really liked is called BISTRO MA COCOTTE. here you can see my BRUSCHETTA and PASTA from the hockey club.
Cristian has a new watch – YAY! it is the ADVOLAT CITY BAUHAUS in white with chronograph. I have already shown you his other CITY BAUHAUS watch and the only difference is that this one is white and has a chronograph. read the previous blogpost here >>
this photo was taken at the VITRA SUMMER PARTY during ART Basel 2015 and I absolutely love his outfit.
the cool things about the ADVOLAT watches, besides being swiss design, are that they are A very comfy and B can be worn for day and night. In Cristians case we just change the watchband and the watch looks absolutely different. he has a more chunky genuine leather band with stiching for everyday and a sleek brown leather watchband for the more elegant days or nights like during ART Basel. with every watch you can buy an additional watchband to make your watch more versatile and in the end I think it is absolutely worth it.
I saw some beautiful watches in a window of a photo-shop when I was strolling thru Clarastrasse in Basel and I just had to see who and what was behind this company. in fact I did so and until todayI am in touch. it s a swiss company and there are many different watches. I am sure there is something nice for all of you. have a look. advolat.chonline-shop
when I was walking thru the streets of basel in order to get some fashion inspiration I stumbled upon this cute outfit and I had to share it with you. unfortunately I was a bit in a hurry so I couldnt ask her for her name or the clothes she was wearing but I have found some similar pieces that I wanna share with you now:
I have already introduced you to my new bag called BOMBATA – for the people who have not read this yet they can read it here >>
it is now the time to wear longsleeve dresses with bare legs. last sunday was such a beautiful day and I was chilling in the sun at the KABAR in basel. as you can see I stole Cristians watch 🙂 I think it looks awesome on me, I am really thinking about buying an Advolat watch for myself.
I saw something nice for you! this simple watch is perfect for men and women. I have already introduced this watch brand in a previous post – read more here >> I am a big fan of the BAUHAUS design and therefor I love the shape and design of the CITY watch – simple and sleek!
so you might wonder why the watch looks different in the photo above – thats because I switched the wristband, instead of the black I attached a brown leather band. a quick simple thing makes a big change!
soon I will show you an outfit where you will see me wearing this gorgeous CITY watch. stay tuned! xx
a watch brand from BASEL – isn’t that amazing?
I recently discovered these gorgeous watches when I was strolling thru Clarastrasse in Basel. Next to the Basilisk photography shop there is a shopwindow with some pieces of their collection. It was the first time I have heard of ADVOLAT and I really liked the fact that they are from Basel.
Let me tell you a bit more about ADVOLAT and their philosophy, thats what I found on their website:
I really like the BAUHAUS design CITY watch and the same watch can be worn differently – with a black watch strap or with a brown one. for CHF 49.00 you can purchase the brown leather watch strap and easily change it by yourself when ever you want. soon I will show you photos with the two different watch straps – a more elegant and a more casual version – stay tuned!
these are my favourite ballerinas by Pretty Ballerinas.
I can not wait for spring to be here – I am so ready to wear ballerinas without freezing 🙂
ballerinas are one of my favourite flats.. I know a lot of people dont like ballerina shoes but I am not one of them. I looove the different styles from chic, classy to funny, cute. perfect with jeans a white t-shirt and blazer or to wear some fancy colored ballerinas with a simple black dress.. there are so many ways to wear ballerinas..
I was in Berlin for the weekend and took the chance to shoot some outfit pictures for my blog. Since my beloved fashion designer NINO BOLLAG has recently moved his studio to Berlin I thought it would be perfect to feature him in these photos. So – I chose a “blouse combo look” which can be layered and also be worn seperately. The black blouse is a great key piece to have because you can wear it as a jacket or as a blouse in a either chic or casual way. The light sheer printed blouse is a wonderful piece for summer and can be worn as a tunika at the beach or together with some skinny jeans and sandals. Anyway, I chose to layer the NINO BOLLAG blouses in this look and combine them with black pants, shoes and clutch. As a contrast I have my copper hair 😉
