when I was walking thru the streets of basel in order to get some fashion inspiration I stumbled upon this cute outfit and I had to share it with you. unfortunately I was a bit in a hurry so I couldnt ask her for her name or the clothes she was wearing but I have found some similar pieces that I wanna share with you now:
spring in sight! today I wanna show you a nice mix of my beloved roy lichtenstein pattern coat, a simple black dress and 2 bright accessories: my red shoes and my red hat! I mean it doesnt have to be a comic pattern coat – it could be any kind of pattern or mix of bright colors that can be combined with black and one of the colors from the coat. in my case it was red black and the pattern from the coat!
I was so inspired by this lovely photo via tumblr that I had to wear something similar. of course I did not want to copy the complete outfit but pick up some pieces like the pants and the coat – colorwise I think I could have done a bit more but hey – these are the clothes I have and I need to work with them. the funny thing about those super old H&M pants is that many times they were on the way out and were very close to being sold at the fleamarket but somehow they have always found back the way to my closet and today I am very happy that they did.

ha, it looks like I am in a blue mood these last couple of days! when I looked at my instagram the color blue was dominating my dashboard. well, what can I say it is true from a fashion point of view other than that I am not feeling blue at all!
shading blue was one of my last photoshoots for my blog and for the ones who have not read this blogpost yet you can do so now and here >>
I found this lovely piece at the ESPRIT onlineshop and have already introduced you to my new coat – anyway, I wanted to show you my full outfit as this was not really the case in the other blogpost – read the previous post here >>
fall has started and I am putting together my wardrobe for the season. I found this lovely coat at the esprit onlineshop and I couldnt resist – this was an immediate purchase and I have not regret it yet 🙂 in the photo I am wearing the coat with black fake leather shorts and a simple grey v-neck t-shirt. I am sure I can find many other ways to wear this coat as it has the perfect thickness for the swiss fall nights and I am sure I can layer it and wear it with a big scarf in winter and make it work. the INKA pattern details are very subtle and therefore very beautiful. I somehow have an overdose from the Inka/Indian patterns but in this case I really adore the design.
an italian interpretation of wearing a very elegant piece of the fall/winter collection in Venice in August 2014. the silver dress is from the new ESPRIT collection and its just absolutely wonderful to wear. once u zip up the back of the dress you just feel ready – ready to have a good time! above you can see some more of the new collection and I am sure that I will find many other gorgeous pieces to wear. ready for fall/winter!
a few days ago Sara P. took these photos of me down by the river RHEIN in Basel, Switzerland. As I can feel spring approaching I decided to move all my winter coats to the very far back of my closet. its time for my spring coats. this gorgeous navy coat by JO BRAUER is one of my favorite, the only downside is that the coat has no pockets.. thats really something I care for when buying a jacket – I NEED POCKETS!
so when I saw these navy TOD’S on SALE at Grieder I knew that they would be a perfect match for my coat. another SALE piece is the yellow silk top by SISLEY that I found at BENETTON

BLOOM – PORTUGAL
I met Carlos Couto – www.carlos-couto.com a portuguese designer at the International Fashionshowcase 2014 where he showed his gorgeous pieces at the BLOOM showroom of Portugal. I fell in love with the white dress and coat with the amazing needle pattern. Hopefully I can style these gorgeous pieces for my blog one day – I already have a perfect outfit in mind. lets see what the future brings!
I am so happy with this gorgeous coat by SABINA JÄGER found at WESTEN store Basel. The coat is huge but thats exactly the way it should be or better said the way I want it to be. The chic cognac color makes it a passepartout and therefor fits almost every outfit. Big UP for XXL coats – I love them!
I am showing you MENs wear – a japanes designer with love for leather, patterns and dark fabric.
my must-have piece of their coats is the fury cozy cardigan jacket. yeah, I am not kidding – I would wear this right away! perfect for layering a fall/winter look underneath – combined with jeans or an elegant black dress with boots – a passepartout for these cold days!
