I GOT SOMETHING NICE

something from the US – and I am talking about the new wetnwild eyeshadow palette in FLORAL VALUES! this is the perfect palette for spring and I was already playing around with it for the first time this very morning and I gotta say I am impressed by the colors – they can be applied in a more subtle way and in a very bold colorful way and I think thats something very important as not every day is the same day and ones mood is changing with the wardrobe and maybe with the weather so we want to be able to have some freedom!

I made a tiny YT video about my new palette and for the ones that have not visited my channel yet  now would be a good moment!

I dunno if I should mix this palette with the new TOLEDO violetwink palette by maccosmetics. what do you think? they might go perfectly together as they both have a nice mix of rosy, pinkish lavender colors. I am so ready for spring!

here you can see the light subtle swatches and the more bold swatches and this makes the 5 eyeshadow an actual 10 eyeshadow palette!

parenti’s cashmere

the spring/summer collection by Parenti’s is out and there are lots of nice cashmere, silk and cashmere/cotton mix pieces with a super awesome lookbook. above you can see some lovely photos of the models wearing an elegant and comfy mix of the collection.

my favorite piece is this one:

parentis cashmere

aaww – I can totally see myself wearing this maxi dress on a windy summer evening together with my favorite sandals and a washed out jeans jacket! aaah I can not wait for the warm days to arrive! in the photo the model is also wearing the pants but for me that would be a bit too much cashmere for summer!

FOR THE BASEL PEOPLE
there is a showroom at St.Alban-Vorstadt 68 A
where you can have a look at the collection and order your desired color and size. you might wonder how this work? so let me explain you the business model: Sabine Parenti launches a collection twice a year: spring/summer and fall/winter. for every collection she chooses about ten different colors and all the pieces are more or less available in these colors. so for example the ribbed cashmere dress that you see in beige above can be ordered in a bright orange a dull green or many other colors.

a super basic but maybe just for swiss spring and summer is the college V neck sweater that you can see here in off-white – but I would totally wear this all year around.

parentis cashmere

so I hope I was showing you something nice and have a look at the collection here: http://www.parentis-cashmere.com there are lots of other nice pieces and different colors!

KURE BAZAAR

I have got something nice to show you – the 4-free nail polishes by KURE BAZAAR Paris. I have so far tried the two beautiful colors BOHEMIAN and KALE – two very strong independent colors – and two different base coats and one top coat. I have discovered KURE BAZAAR last year at the Parfumerie Hyazinth in Basel and was really impressed by the 4-free formula and tried the BOHEMIAN color and the FIRST BASE basecoat. well as I am a STRIPLAC lover this nail polish of course didnt last as long.. in fact it chipped already after the second day eventough I had used a base and top coat.

at the KURE BAZAAR event we were given the DRY FINISH top coat and the CLEAN mate base coat and its really funny that now when I use the CLEAN mate base coat instead of the FIRST BASE the nailpolish lasts longer – I am impressed! so in my case the mate base called CLEAN helps the nail polish last longer. I had the BOHEMIAN for two days and the KALE for three days – still no comparison to my 20 days + with STRIPLAC but it is 4-free and that should really matter!

what does 4-free mean? it means that the company has removed four toxic ingredients and has replaced them with natural ones. so what did they remove exactly? they have removed Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene and Formaldehyde Resin! the KURE BAZAAR formula is up to 85 % of natural origin based on wood pulp, cotton, potatoes, wheat and corn.

so what I absolutely love, besides the fact that the nail polishes are of natural origin, are the colors! I have hardly ever seen so many nice colors of one single brand. the KALE and BOHEMIAN are two very special colors and so far I have not found any similar colors. hmm, maybe for the BOHEMIAN the MAVALA Sienna Red could be a close dupe but just close. what do you think?
