I was waiting for the heat and the sun to come and finally they did! so what to wear when it is freaking hot? I am a huge fan of blousedresses, tunics and kaftans made out of rayon, cotton or silk. one of my favorite materials for summer is silk. so let me show you what I was wearing yesterday. I got this cotton tunic dress from MANGO a couple of years a go. It was on SALE and I think it was about 10 CHF so a real bargain. Its a white tunic with blue details below the collar and cuffs. I pair this dress with white flat sandals, golden jewelry, my CASIO knock off watch, beige sunglasses from Chicoree and my lovely watch clutch by C&A – thats it, I am ready for summer!

ESPRIT look – hello summer

finally the sun is back in Basel and I can wear my beautiful new dress that I bought some days ago at ESPRIT store in Basel. a very simple two color dress that is very comfy and quiet affordable for CHF 79.90 – I paired the dress with my new SIX sunglasses that I found at C&A, a very old brown bag that I once discovered at the fleamarket, my NAVYBOOT sandals and a pair of earrings from H&M. a very easy and casual summer outfit. dont you think so?

I met Carlos Couto – www.carlos-couto.com a portuguese designer at the International Fashionshowcase 2014 where he showed his gorgeous pieces at the BLOOM showroom of Portugal. I fell in love with the white dress and coat with the amazing needle pattern. Hopefully I can style these gorgeous pieces for my blog one day – I already have a perfect outfit in mind. lets see what the future brings!

a simple way to dress up!

are you atteding a party or do you need an outfit for a glamorous moment?
you can not go wrong with mixing black and gold or other metalic shades like copper silver.. to make this outfit more edgy I chose a rather chunky necklace. The great thing about these kind of outfits is that you can wear them all year around. In summer with sunglasses and in fall and spring with a cardigan and black blazer or leatherjacket and in winter with a black woolcoat! enjoy mixing!

this is the perfect little friend to go everywhere. bring it to the beach or park or just carry it in your handbag for every day.

how to use it…

If you have frizzy hair – use a lil amount of oil and rub it in your palms then gently go over the frizzy parts. I used it on my body after the shower after a day in the sun and the result was amazing – fresh glowing skin! The oil didnt leave any stains on my dress but I also waited with dressing for 10 minutes after applying.

As I have super sensitive skin I so far didnt use it on my face. I think the perfume might irritate my already irritated skin.. anyway, let me know how you like it and how you use it – comment below!

I cleaned my closet and reorganized everything – I packed all my winter clothes in boxes and stored them in my basement. Now I have room for my SS 2013 – dresses – blazers – tops/shirts – skirts – pants/denim/leggings – coats/parkas

atm I am looking for a floral dress. I have plenty of uni colored skirts and dresses and would really like to wear something special this spring/summer. flower-pattern it will be for sure 🙂
