STONES AGAINST DIAMONDS

IsaacJulien

thank you Rolls Royce for inviting me to the press breakfast at elisaebethen kirche to meet ISAAC JULIEN and see the wonderful installation that I have already mentioned on the blog.

the installation is absolutely breath taking I could sit there forever and watch the different images on the screen. I have explained the piece in the previous post so please go back and read it there : ) being inside the exhibition made me feel like I was there in the cold with Vanessa. it was so nice to take a photo with Isaac Julien and of course I had to ask by whom the clothes were Vanessa Myrie was wearing. his answer was: MIYAKE. beautiful black and white outfits!

C&A fashion festival

thank you C&A for this wonderful event. the location – the interior design – the looks – the new collection – everything was great! the dresscode for the event was BOHEMIAN and everyone looked stunning, either wearing lace or crochet, floral prints, long dresses, hats or hairbands!

the catering was fab – tiny soups and burgers, vegipieces, and SWEETS awww.. they were soooo delicious! I had to try at least 3 different kinds and one was better than the one before.

the interior design of the location really brought me into a summer mood. I have never seen such old ANNABELLE magazines and the chairs reminded me of me grandmas camping gear (in a good way) – there were flowers everywhere – it all looked super nice!

Jessy and I had a wonderful night, we met Regine from gine.ch and Stefanie from herfield and thanks to Larissa we found our way back to the main station Zurich HB.

I took photos of the fashionshow and the performance of Zazou Mall – soon I will upload these photos aswell.. I just had issues with the camera and therefore the photos will need to go thru bridge first. stay tuned. xx

ONLINE SHOPPING

ONLINE SHOPPING at
MRLENS.CH

Currently I am checking out different Swiss online shops and stumbled upon MR LENS. Have you heard about this shop before? I think the name is a bit misleading because they do not only sell glasses and lens – they also have a big variety of parfum, hair and body products. I scrolled thru their whole shop and looked for products that are available within 24 hours and planned to spend 100 CHF. To be very honest with you it is not the most stylish online shop I have visited but its kept simple and I think its more about good deals than looking super nice 🙂

Ever since I discovered JO MALONE in London I am a huge fan of their fragrances and when I saw that MR LENS sells the JO MALONE cologne for 71.30 CHF I wanted to give the LIME BASIL MANDARIN cologne a try. So what else did I find – I saw NIVEA showergels and handwash for 3.80 CHF and figured why not trying the NIVEA showergel and handwash range 🙂

Shopping at MR LENS is very easy and I didnt have any problems with my purchase. I spend 99.60 CHF for the JO MALONE cologne, 6 showergels and 1 handwash by NIVEA. I ordered around 3 o clock in the afternoon and the next morning at 9 o clock I got the parcel delivered to my house. so within less than 24 hours I had all my things – THATS FANTASTIC!
