these are my favorite fragrances at the very moment and I rather leave the house without makeup than without fragrance : ) yes, I am an absolute scent person and I love to have a variety of different perfumes that fit my moods. as you can see the scents are very different, some are rather sweet and some are very fresh or herbal. my favorites are also perfumes that I can wear all year around despite the different scents. in my case I have special fragrances that I only wear in winter (GUCCI GUILTY) and some that I only wear in summer (JIL SANDER SUN, BRONZE GODDESS etc). not all of my favorite scents are for women only, the LOEWE 7 is for men : ) and the JO MALONE is unisex.
these are the new colors of SALLY HANSEN that I have tried out and I really love them. I love the fact that their nail polishes have wide brushes for an almost one stroke apply (I have small nails) and this makes your manicure so much easier. another fact that I like about SALLY HANSEN is that they are specialized in nailpolishes only and that their polishes last, even the SALON MANICURE lasts at least a week without chipping. a week of using my hands, washing them, cleaning and just doing every day things and my nailpolish stays put. of course I can not compare them to the real GEL nailpolishes where you need a lamp.
so let me put it like that. If you are a person that is aware of the chemicals in nail polishes then I think you might like KURE BAZAAR (4free) a lot better but this said their polishes dont last as long on my nails. if you are a person with the urge to change your nail color frequently then SALLY HANSEN is totally your thing as you can easily remove and apply their polishes, without a lamp, and they last a good week or longer. so if you are a very busy person that has very little time but feels the need to have a nice and proper manicure then the GEL nailpolishes, that you use with a lamp and are instantly dry afterwards, are the perfect thing for you! that was it from today. have a lovely day. I love the two colors and they even work great together. these are my favorite brushes and I almost use them on a daily basis. and now I wanna tell you why and for what I love them so much. #1 has the perfect shape for around the eyes and nose, I use it for powder, foundation or concealer. #2 this brush is an allrounder, I use it for highlighter, for blush, to blend contouring, for concealing and for foundation. #3 my go to sculpting brush, it has the perfect shape for my cheeks, jawline and forehead. #4 I use this bugger to smudge my eyeliner, to apply eyeshadow under the eyes and to conceal blemishes. #5 my number one blending brush, it works like magic, I use it for the crease and move with windshield wiping strokes to perfectly blend the shadows. #6 this one is perfect for loose or compact powder, I use it allover the face.

aww. I was waiting for this quiet some time, and yay, it is finally here the MIUMIU parfum. so in love with the packaging and also the scent. somehow I expected something completely different, something fresh and youthful but nooo it is not at all like that, it is a very elegant chic scent for a casual to chic lady. STACY MARTIN is the face for the first MIU MIU fragrance.
kissing is something really nice, but not at all with chapped lips. I am a big fan of the clear ELIZABETH ARDEN 8 hour lip balms but also had a good colored one by KORRES. now I got these new LABELLO care&color and they are a mix between a clear and stained lip balm. I have only tried the red one yet and I like it a lot. lets see how the other two colors will look like, there is RED, ROSE and NUDE.
we are all made out of lots of water and water is one of the key essentials for surviving of course everybody knows that. but did you know that the new SPF30 foundation is based on water? a very very smooth liquid consistency with medium coverage. it blends in very nicely. and I am very happy that it has SPF 30 perfect for the nice and sunny fall days. last week I was in Zuerich for the MIGROS I am PROFESSIONAL blogger event and I had a great time. Now I can show you some *photos of the event and wanna share some thoughts about the I am PROFESSIONAL blogger event and my favorite product with you.
BLOGGER EVENTS – some tips from my side!
In general I wanna say something, thank you very much for inviting me to all these awesome events BUT not all swiss bloggers are living in ZUERICH, where almost all of the events are taking place. so in case you invite a blogger to your event, make sure that you cover their train tickets. why should a blogger attend your event paying for it by himself and then in the end write about the event and product for a goodie bag or for the products itself? for a person without 1/2 tax a train ride from BS to ZH including the local tram tickets is around 80 CHF.
A HUGE NOOOOOOOO !!
these expenses should be calculated in the budget and it should be normal for the PR companies to inform the bloggers about that. since one year I am only attending events in ZH when the organizer covers my travel expenses. If not I am not coming to ZH as simple as that.
again I am very grateful and happy to be invited so don’t get me wrong. its just after a year of attending events in ZH for my blog I ended up spending 1500 CHF only on tickets and that was a year when I was not attending so many events, I think there were about 18 events or so. but still I ended up paying for my blogposts – do you know what I mean?
another thing that I have noticed at the last couple of events. bloggers dont want the food that you would serve at a farmers union, so please check if there are enough vegetarian or even vegan alternatives. the biggest NOOOOOOO of the I am PROFESSIONAL event was the food. IT WAS REALLY REALLY BAD, as the first 4 rounds of food where chicken, ham, cheese, and meatballs. SERIOUSLY ??? ever heard of vegetarian or vegan lifestyle? I could go bananas on this topic as I feel like a lot of people that organize those events have no idea for whom they are preparing the event. so PLEASE make sure to have meals without cheese and without meat. the sad thing about the I am PROFESSIONAL event was that there was sooo much meat left that nobody wanted, a real pitty if you think that animals had to die for that.. so in that case less is really more : )
I will start to write a blogger manual as I have so many things to complain about. something very uncommon here on isawsomethingnice where I try to only focus on positive things. but I am sure there are many bloggers out there that share the same thoughts.
STYLING
alright, enough said about the food and ticket situation. now lets move on the the styling part that was really cool. I happened to have a very nice stylist and she created some natural looking curls and braided the front to the back. thank you very much, it was really nice to be pampered.
and here finally some vegetarian food arrived, delicious falafel balls but unfortunately they only made like a handful of them and sadly they were gone within seconds. the other alternative they pulled out was a vegetarian quiche, mmhhmm it was delightful but again same issue here, the amount of vegetarian food was just not enough!!
and here you can see the final result of my hair styling by I am PROFESSIONAL. my favorite product is the SMOOTH AND GLOSSY hairspray that really helped to hold my curls. unfortunately there was a massive pour down on the way to the train station and I lost half of the volume of my curls but still it looked nice. check the photos on twitter to see more >>

wow what a cool project – CHROMATROPHIC! Design Miami/ has partnered with Pierre Frey on a custom textile design to celebrate the fair’s 10 year anniversary. contemporary menswear brand, Hentsch Man has developed the print into a limited run capsule collection of hats, jackets and shoes and american style brand, J. Crew has created a pocket square with the print. Happy Birthday Design Miami/ !
The limited runs of each will be sold on site at Design Miami/ Basel next week.

Founded in 1935 Maison Pierre Frey now has an archive of some 7,000 wallpaper and fabric designs that demonstrate the house’s commitment to fine craft and rich, hand-drawn pattern work. Design Miami/ collaborates with the luxury textile house for its 10th Anniversary to create Chromatropic, a camouflage inspired print collaged from tropical textiles from the Pierre Frey archive and collection.
