MAKE UP SESSION ONE with lovely Diana

last weekend I had the pleasure to use some of my new makeup products on Diana. we ended up using the new SISLEY phyto 4 ombres and we both really like the colors and luckily we also both like the result.

so what was I doing? I was using the lighter grey color all over the lid (but not all the way up to the brow) then I used the darker grey and i drew a V shape on the outer corner of the eye. because I have already done Dianas foundation and concealing I wanted to be prepared for any fall out from the eyeshadow and thats why I used lots of loose transparent powder under her eyes – in case of fall out you just brush the powder away with a fan brush and there will be no smudges or darker spots below the eyes. so we have the light grey almost all over the lid and the V in the outer corner in the darker grey – the next step is blending the V with a nice fluffy crease brush. I took the blue color and blended it all over the lid. as a last step I used the light grey color and smudged it very lightly along the water line. VOILA that is the complete eye look with the new SISLEY phyto 4 ombres in 2 mystery!

makeUp lover

there is something nice on the market very very soon: the SISLEY Paris phyto 4 ombres 2 mystery. I was one of the lucky bloggers that got one of these to play around and have fun with it. thank you SISLEY!
I indeed played with it and found some really nice looks with the gorgeous four colors. rather simple ones or more dramatic darker looks. As I love to compare things  I wanted to compare it with the rather new CLINIQUE nutcracker palette.

PHYTO 4 OMBRES – 2 mystery
is a quartet of eye shadow that allows perfect control of color thanks to micronized pigments and ideal concentration. I love the texture of the eye shadows, its a mix between a powder and gel. the application is super easy and the eye shadows are very long-wearing. they do not leak into the wrinkles, nor in the folds of eyelids. the four colors make a variety of types of make-up looks – from rather natural to more intense to super dramatic also thanks to the various effects: matte bright, metallic and satin. THE NUTCRACKER ACT I – snowflake suite / plié pink
inspired by the timeless ballet classic the four shades of All About shadows, plus plié pink blush make an awesome and timeless palette. launched right before christmas it was perfect to celebrate the holidays with sparkly eyes and soft, sweet cheeks. but even now I find these gorgeous four eye shadows are so great for an everyday look. but also in that very case the colors can be mixed and transformed into different looks – from very decent to super dark. the colors are called: Sugar Cane – Crystal Pink – Mushroom and Boron. so as you may have figured out from my descriptions of the products I love them both! they are very different and can be combined for the perfect eye look. stay tuned for the photos with the looks on my FB page. xx

NEW THINGS

I finally found the time to tell you about some amazing new things. let me start from left to right. a couple of weeks ago I was invited to ZH to the Blaue Ente Restaurant to attend the L’Occitane Aromachologie presentation. thank you very much for having me there and for the amazing goodiebag. so whats new from their side. ?? As we know that they support many fairtrade projects and work animal cruelty free it doesnt surprise me that they have decided to switch from plastic to glass containers. indeed, glass is a lot easier to recycle – also the looks of the bottles have a very vintage touch and all this truly underlines the visions of Olivier Baussan, the founder of L’Occitane.

Brume D’Oreiller Relaxante
Huile de Massage Relaxante
Pochettes Parfumees Relaxantes

there are two new lines by L’Occitane, the relaxante and tonifiante rituals. either for the morning or night with a touch of lemon, rosemary, grapefruit, mint, oranges, lavender or almondoil. have a wonderful day and an even better night!

one of my all time favorites is the Brume D’Oreiller Relaxante Spray. OMG – it makes my bed smell like a SPA! thats what I want, a nice, calm, good smelling place to spend relaxing hours of sleep and thats what you get with this product. my bottle is already half thru because I use it almost every night. I spritz a couple of times all over my bed, pillow and sheets and enjoy the natural fragrance and zzZZZZzzz

also I wanted to share with you my magazines that I have found at the KIOSK at the German railway station in Basel. BLONDEWOHNREVUEFRÄULEIN – which are your favorite magazines?

and then last but not least I wanna tell you about yesterdays SISLEY Paris presentation at the DOLDER GRAND in Zurich. ooh lala, what an amazing location. I felt like a princess and was eager to check out the new products by SISLEY. thanks so much for all the goodies. I am a fan of the eau tropical and I adore the Masque Creme a la Rose Noire. Have you tried the SUNLEYA sunscreen by SISLEY? I didnt do that yet but I will bring this little bugger to Ticino, yes I am spending the weekend in the Italian part of Switzerland. Cant wait!! I will get back to you in detail about the new SISLEY products that will be available in September 2014. stay tuned. xx
