WANNA BE RICH ?

RICH

today I have something nice for our skin. I wanna talk about the LUBEX anti-age DAY RICH UV20 and NIGHT RICH. now that the hot days of summer are over it is time to change not only our wardrobe but also our skin care. we start using the heaters at home and inside the shops, public transport and I can already see how dry my skin is. so thats when I heard about the RICH line from LUBEX anti age. there is a light, classic and rich line and as you may know I already introduced some really nice products by them, have a look here >>

in genreal Lubex anti-age products contain:
no preservatives (air- and light-tight packages ensure long durability and good hygiene),
no artificial colouring and
no allergenic perfumes. thats awesome in so many ways!

the RICH line is for dry to very dry skin and/or mature skin. well I never know what to believe when it comes to anti age or mature skin products. I am 32 years old and I can obviously see a difference in my skin from when I was 16. I have dry skin so often extra moisturize comes with the anti-age products, like in that case here. but now wait, if you think RICH means greasy than you totally misunderstood me, the creams are nicely smooth and are being absorbed fast.

LUBEX anti-age DAY RICH UV20
rich texture 50ml 20 SPF uva+uvb
58.50 CHF

stem cells + HAF
Liposomes dîsoflavones
multi active AntiOx

there are apple stem cells to keep our skin healthy and young and soy isoflavone liposomes to increase the elasticity and improve the structure of our skin. peptides and coenzyme Q10 are leading to a long-lasting lifting effect. HAF, hyaluronates and ceramides hydrate very intensively and make our skin more resistant. multi-active AntiOx system HDBM, protect actively during 24 hours against free radicals.

RICH

LUBEX anti-age NIGHT RICH
rich texture 50ml

High-dose Retinol
Isoflavonen – Liposomen
multi active AntiOx

both of the creams are having a very high content of moisturizing factors and high content of lipids. a high-dose retinol regenerates our skin and repairs skin damages. there are also soy isoflavone liposomes, like in the RICH DAY, that increase the elasticity and improve the structure of our skin and peptides and coenzyme Q10 that lead to a long-lasting lifting effect. HAF, hyaluronates and ceramides hydrate very intensively and make our skin more resistant.

some of the ingredients come up in almost every of their products and these are: peptides, they are very important messengers to block the skin and they play a huge role in wound healing. even the normal daily skin regeneration process has to deal with small tissue damage that must be repaired and balanced. over time this ability declines more and more and the aging process of the skin begins. poly-, penta- and hexapeptides specifically activate biological restructuring processes in the skin and therefore age-related skin damage is being repaired – the skin becomes more resilient and toned. tripeptides significantly increase collagen synthesis and actively promote the matrix structure of the skin. it fills wrinkles from the inside. : )

and now for something completely different, finally I wanted to share with you my pictures and videos from the PINK RIBBON CHARITY WALK in zurich BUT I can not find the folder.. hopefully it is in on the backUp that I have on my other HD, I will check and share them when I find them. I took an amazing video where you saw so many pink dressed people run for a good purpose. fingers crossed that I find them. the only thing I can link you to is the tweet I posted – click here. I ran/walked with team LUBEX anti-age and we had a blast! thank you very much for having me. X

SPRING & SUMMER skin care

the sun is out and thats the time where we should think about SPF – do you use SPF? I can highly recommend to do so. the sun is very powerful and can cause serious damage to your skin.. yeah, I know.. I am sure you have heard that somewhere before 🙂 anyway, I want to show you what I use at the moment in order to keep my skin protected from UV A and UV B rays.

LANCASTER Sun Control Fluid SPF 50
Thats what I start with, thats my base in spring and summer. It is a very light fluid and very easy to apply all over my face and neck. I already introduced this product here >>

CLINIQUE superdefense SPF 20
As a second step I use my daily moisturizer. It already has an average SPF but not enough for my sensitive skin and my couperose parts on my cheeks. here you can read my opinion about the Clinique Superdefense – I did a test with Jaswant and we are both still using them.  >>

ESTEE LAUDER CC Cream SPF 10
I think this is enough coverage for me in spring and summer. Its perfect to even out my skintone and leaves a nice glow. read more about this CC Cream here >>

so after these steps I curl my eyelashes, I apply Bronzer and lipstick and I am ready for the day!

whats your skin care routine? do you use SPF? what products do you use?

CLINIQUE superdefense SPF 20

Jaswant and me will answer these questions below. we both used the cream for 1 week.

#1
how does the skin react to the new cream?
#2
how does it work with foundations?
#3
does the cream keep the skin hydrated during the whole day?
#4
how much to use per day? how long will the product last for?
prize/result – is it worth it?

Jaswant – 35 – fashion consultant / mom says:
(type 3,4 combination oily to oily)

1
After using the cream for a full week I can tell for sure that my skin reacts well and no irritations appeared. After applying superdefense and having a few sips of my morning tea I was able to apply my foundation right away.

2
I use the luminous silk foundation by Georgio Armani. This has light coverage and not a matt but glowy finish. I use a highlighter on the check bones, fluid sheer by Georgio Armani. Together with the Superdefense cream I found the result to be stunning. It gave me an overall healthy looking glow, you get after a restfull vacation.

3
The cream definately keeps my skin hydrated through the whole day. I never felt any drynes or tight feeling when exposed to dry office air. Before using other creams I could see lines in various areas caused by dry air at the end of the day. Several people around me noticed the improvement of my skin, and said how good and healthy I looked.

4
As the cream is very nurturing I don’t need a lot and can say that it will last for at least 6-8 weeks. Therefore I think it is worth to buy, and I’m waiting to see the result on my skin after a month.

(type 1,2 very dry to combination)

1
My skin reacted quiet well to the superdefense SPF 20. Usually I get irritations and redness very easily but I really didnt have any problems yet. I have been using the cream for one week now and I didnt get any blemishes from the cream.

2
When I first used the cream with the M.A.C Face and Body Foundation my skin felt very dewy and I had to wait for quiet a moment in between.
But then I started to use a primer, M.A.C Prep and Prime, before applying the foundation and then I didnt have any issues with too dewy and shiny skin.

3
The cream does keep my skin hydrated during the the whole day.
I have very dry parts on my forhead, around my nose and chin and the cream really helped to hydrate my skin.

4
I only use a little amount every day because the cream is very rich and when you use too much it will make you look very shiny.
The 50 ml will last me for at least 8 weeks if not longer as I only use it during the day. The superdefense SPF 20 costs 72 CHF which is not cheap and I have to use the cream for a little bit longer in order to see if the cream is really worth it.

so what about you? did you use the CLINIQUE superdefense yet?
did you like it?

please leave a comment below or answer the questions directly on tumblr. xx
