I wanna capture all my leather and fake leather jackets and make them more diverse by showing them in different outfits. I have a black one by C&A a black one with a white collar by FIZZEN, a black and white actez pattern one by TALLY WEIJL, an oversized black fake leather jacket by C&A, a brown fake suede by ESPRIT, a brown leather jacket by EDWIN and a brown/grey one by KOOKAI. I really can not complain and I am totally not in the need of a leather or fake leather jacket – I can work with the given : )

esprit shopping haul:

I found these two amazing pieces at the esprit shop in basel and luckily these pieces are also available online via the espritshop.ch. orange is a great elegant statement color and at the moment you can see this kind of hat in all the shops. I wanted to have a pompom that is made out of fakefur and was very surprised to see that this one is in fact fake fur, yay! it does look real, and thats the thing nowadays, you can not tell real from fake. for me these two things symbolice fall/winter. orange reminds me of halloween and pumpkin soup. the fake fur pompom makes me think about skiing in the mountains. the pattern of the 7/8 length pants is again really big this fall/winter. you can see lots of plaid skirts, coats, dresses and pants.
yay – I can finally show you yesterdays result of the photo shooting. I love the shirt and I was told that it is very comfortable to wear. so for the people who have not read my previous post – read more here >> http://www.isawsomethingnice.ch/saleduck-x-asos << I ordered this grey flannel shirt and a pair of blue cropped pants at the ASOS onlineshop and got a discount using a SALEDUCK.ch code. this is a very simple everyday look and the shirt is perfect for this inbetween season weather. in case you re hot just roll up the sleeves, but for sure you will not use a jacket during the days.. at least not here in basel at the moment. I am sure that this was a great choice as it can be worn with almost every color. the flannel gives the grey a very nice mixed structure so that it can even be worn with different shades of grey. I could also see this shirt in a more elegant way with black pants and leather shoes. lets see if C wants to take more photos for the blog and if so I will of course share them with you. but for sure you will get to see the outfit with the blue cropped pants.

I found some awesome pieces from the new fall/winter collection at C&A in Basel, Switzerland and some of the pieces are indeed available via the onlineshop, these are the pieces that you can see above.
I found another denim shirt with embelishment that is not in the online shop (yet) – lets see maybe I can add it to the list later. anyways, I will soon upload outfit inspirations including these new fall pieces. if the weather is decent I can shoot this weekend. stay tuned. X

today is 9/11 my thoughts are with all the people that left their lives. but there is also something very very beautiful happening today, my lovely friend AGATA is getting married today. this is a very casual way of wearing a crop top as I am not wearing any heavy jewelry nor other accessories other than my small black earrings. in my opinion black and pink go well but its a thin line, sometimes it can look really really cheap, I hope you agree that this look doesn’t.
how to wear crop tops?
I love to wear crop tops with high waisted pencil skirts. crop tops can be either loose or fitted. in case you are not a skirt person and you have a very nice belly to show the world, but really only then, you can wear a crop top with a nice pair of boyfriend jeans. I have an oversized loose cashmere crop top that I was wearing with destroyed boyfriend jeans before but since the top is rather oversized you can not really see my belly : ) so as I said I prefer to only show a tiny line between top and bottom, I find somehow the crop top outfits look a bit more elegant and less revealing like that. I am not a teenager anymore ; ) and I also dont have Miley Cyrus as my role model, chchchchchch.

finally I can show you my new coat that can be worn as a dress too, as the temperatures dropped a bit and I was feeling a lot more in the mood to shoot these photos. : ) I got this beautiful trench coat from MINT & BERRY and it is now on SALE for 55 instead of 75 CHF.
I paired the coat with some really comfy heels that I bought several years ago and have so far never let me down. for sure I will try to wear this coat as a dress in fall or winter or incase I have a nice outdoor event. NOTE the color is described as nude but in fact it is more apricot or rose. I dont mind that because I think it makes it a lot more special compared to all the other nude or beige trench coats.

here you can see me wearing the coat as a trench coat with my bright aztec print dress and flat shoes, this makes the whole outfit a lot more casual but still chic. I am ready for fall but not a rainy grey fall nooo, a rather sunny one. do you have your fall winter collection together? soon I will show you my personal fall/ winter favorites. a trenchcoat is a good key piece for your wardrobe. it can be worn with dresses or pants, casual or chic there are many ways to wear it. this is a perfect in between season coat, especially here in Basel, Switzerland.

so with great basic pieces you can make even a small wardrobe very versatile its just the way you combine and mix what with what. for these inspirations I wanted the look to be light and elegant but suitable for all the different occasions.

what are basic pieces for me? hmm it could be the best white t-shirt or the perfect skinny jeans, the best fitting black blazer or comfy black heels. these are all things that can always pull a great outfit. a grat matching top and pants are also great as they can be worn individualy or together. so when I am talking about basic pieces I mean clothes that can be well combined.

JUNE is here and the temperatures dropped 15 ° C lets hope for better weather during ART Basel. well today I was wearing my comfy new grey pants with the new XXL hat and layering helped. the pants where on SALE for 5 CHF – what a bargain! the hat is for the hot summer days – I cant wait!

I am so in love with my new XXL hat : ) and I have already worn it on a sunny day at the rhein. people gave me funny looks but thats not my problem. anyway I hope this outfit was inspiring and lets see what tomorrows forecast brings. HAPPY TUESDAY!
whilst strolling thru the web I found this awesome baby blue top by STREET ONE and I just had to share it with you. it is the perfect key piece for a great summer look and I found two very nice ways to wear it. the first one is a casual everyday look for a rather swiss summer day and the other one is a chic everyday look for a hot day. the best thing is that you can mix this top with so many things you already have in your wardrobe. 
so as you can see for this casual look you need black pumps and blue skinny jeans – thats it. of course you can add accessories like jewelry or a nice handbag but the basic look can be achieved by combining these three items.
here I am showing a very easy and summery look and I know that a lot of you are not so keen on wearing white but in fact it is such a perfect color for a hot summer day! I love the combo of white beige and babyblue. also in this case the outfit can be accessorized with jewelry or a nice handbag.

this weekend I was in KARLSRUHE (read more here >>) and I was wearing the top with black 7/8 pants and black BIRKENSTOCK shoes, unfortunately I could not take a proper photo but I think you can see what you need to see in the one below : )
TIPS:
# since this top has very thin straps I recommend to wear a strapless bra – it just looks a lot nicer when there are only the straps of the shirt.
# do you like the layering look? if so then choose a bigger size and layer it with other singlets or another similar top.
# in or out ? you can wear this top inside a high waist skirt meaning to tuck it in in the front or back. BUT it can also be worn outside, meaning over a skinny jeans.
there are many other ways to wear this top and of course I will keep you posted about that. just stay up to date with my blog.
for quiet some time I was looking for a white oversized sweater and finally I found one when I was strolling thru the H&M in Weil am Rhein. the cut is really oversized as I am wearing the size XS and I feel it is quiet big already. so today I wanna show you two different versions of the white shirt: a casual one – the one you can see above and below and an elegant one that will follow.

I really had an amazing sunday today – I slept until eleven and then had a nice breakfast followed by some blog work and delicious frozen joghurt – mmmhhhmmm. then I took these photos and in the end I found time to sit at the rhein in the sun. now I wanna show you the same shirt in a more elegant way – have a look:
same shirt different style. thats done very easily with such a bling bling sequin skirt like this one. I am so glad I waited for it to be on SALE and cost half as much as it would have before. : ) and I guess that thought and the sunny weather made me dance a bit.
