yay – happy weekend – every day so many bad sad horrible things happen – and I m very sorry for all the lost lives. these moments I especially love to share something nice with you. I focus on small things and things that make the tiny difference like sending lovely letters to friends or having a nice meal with a friend. I hope you will have a wonderful weekend!

today’s fashion pick is my new colorful sequin skirt that rocks every outfit. I found it on SALE – half price so it was perfect for my January budget 😉

I was so inspired by this lovely photo via tumblr that I had to wear something similar. of course I did not want to copy the complete outfit but pick up some pieces like the pants and the coat – colorwise I think I could have done a bit more but hey – these are the clothes I have and I need to work with them. the funny thing about those super old H&M pants is that many times they were on the way out and were very close to being sold at the fleamarket but somehow they have always found back the way to my closet and today I am very happy that they did.

ooh let me show you these amazing sunglasses that I have found at C&A in Basel. Each pair costs 7 CHF and thats really a bargain! they have a sticker that says UV 400 which protects your eyes also at the beach and in the mountains. they have so many different glasses and these are my very favorite! tiny trip to MULHOUSE france

I felt like eating a french croissant and strolling thru a tiny village. from basel it takes you about 20 minutes to an half an hour depending which connection of the SNCF. its such a sunny day today and I was wearing my Birkenstock knockoffs for the first time – these sandals are perfect for a little trip as they are very very comfy and flat.
