I can not get enough of the AU JOUR LE JOUR dresses – there are sooo many nice ones and I am already thinking about getting another one. I found the matching coat to this dress on POLYVORE but it was already sold out – any idea where I could find it?

I am not really a person who wears black a lot so when I wear black I always feel very elegant and chic. my friend linda brought me this beautiful black silk acne dress with leather fringe and the only thing that seemed right was to wear it.

CASHMERE BASICS

that’s essential to my winter wardrobe! I live in freezing Switzerland and I can really wear my cashmere cardigans, coats and sweaters!

I think we should all have one or two cashmere basics like a nice navy v-neck sweater or a beige roundneck cardigan. I get my basics from either C&A – yes you read this correctly 🙂 I got 2 super awesome roundneck cardigans – a navy one and a beige one – or I get them from the PARENTIS showroom in Basel (seasonal sale 2x a year – s/s and a/w)

so certain days when it is raining cats and dogs or just a foggy day I like to endulge myself in my cosy soft cashmere sweaters, coats, scarves and cardigans – they make me feel as if I had not left my bed 🙂

here you can see some ideas of how I wear my Cashmere Basics – either very casual or a bit more edgy elegant. thats the best thing about fashion – there are so many options and so many different ways to wear the same thing! I love to play with different materials, colors and patterns and often I love to stay in the same colors and wear different shades of the same color.

it was so nice to stay two days in the countryside at the beautiful castle HERZFELDE and spend some time in the nature. I loved wearing my new GANNI blouse and my selfmade summer hat and strolling thru the fields. the blouse is an amazing keypiece for floral outfits. I can pair it with highwaist shorts, jeans or a skirt – everything goes!

aww, one thing I can not get enough of: black leather skirts! I collect them and cherish them whenever I can! so it was the other day when I was wearing this lovely H&M skirt. I love to pair it with lots of black grey and bling bling statement jewelry!

this dress says it all – flowers, summer, silk – it has the perfect cut and it feels like if I wouldnt be wearing anything. I wore it to the Biennale opening of Khaled Malas’ excavating the sky exhibition in Venice, Italy two weeks ago.

I was so lucky to choose one of their sandals and really liked the SELENA model with the animal print. The advantage of these sandals is the FMT technology for a natural relief! this orthotic technology helps reduce over-pronation, which can relieve associated common pains. And I have to admit that these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn! I am looking forward to many sunny days to walk in my SELENA sandals!

ESPRIT HAUL

wow, so I have checked my wardorbe and I found out that the last two months I was shopping a lot at ESPRIT. As I previously mentioned, the store in Basel is one of the most beautiful shops because of its amazing stairs coming down in the center of the store. I will try to take some photos when I m there next so you can see what I mean.

so what I wanna share among you is that ESPRIT has great SALE prizes and that it sometimes is worth to gamble and wait with purchasing and only buy it when its on SALE – of course you risk that your size or color might be gone. I was always very lucky with this system, especially at ESPRIT store Basel. As you can see I found many black and white skirts, black boots and fauxlether shorts a fancy two color dress and a white top. All these things can be combined together – thats key to me!

some of the pieces are not only wearable in summer but also for fall and spring! and I dunno about you but among my friends ESPRIT had some sort of a “Grandma-Shop” touch and by showing you my shopping haul I think its very clear that this aint the case!
