BLICKFANG BASEL 2015

today was the last day of blickfang basel. I think this year has been a success as there were a lot of people at hall 3.

I absolutely loved the subtle design of the iranian fashion label LIDA NOBA and will def keep an eye on her future work. it was also super nice to chat with her about Iran and its fashion culture.

another cool label is AIKYOU the lingerie brand for small busts. they use bio cotton and produce their collection in germany. thats awesome and especially when you consider the prices – read more about them here <<

and then I discovered the beautiful ceramics by andrea baumann from austria. I am thinking about getting some for my bathroom to put my daily jewelry or for the kitchen to put salt or nuts 🙂

and I can not decide between the white with the golden edge or the white one with the golden inside…

today I wanna show you my impressions from day two of BLICKFANG and again I saw so many nice things to share with you.

I am very much in love with the colors and materials of the enjey collection, lots of beautiful dresses, tops and blazers. I tried to capture some of the colors and materials.

the collection is sold at various places in ZH like NY style couture – GLOBUS ZH – Speicher 10 and Boutique Partout.

for the jewely lovers among us I found something really nice! claudia nabholz makes very cute necklaces and earrings – see more here <<

wow look at those beautiful wooden boxes – I would know exactly what to store inside them 🙂 hats – scarfs – bags 🙂 and maybe I would put a tiny label so I know whats inside. arno wolf has a very lovely booth at blickfang basel and I thinks its absolutely worth to go check out his design – awesome lamps, frames and lots more.

I fell in love with the big blankets from ZIGZAG ZURICH – arent they wonderful? here you can only see 3 different patterns but there are way more. click here to see more <<

another really cool design product was made by studio rene siebum the spine stool that consists of a rope and three wooden pieces. I took the chance to try it out and I gotta say they are very comfortable. read more about him and his philosophy form follows feeling here << he also won the mini design award – congratulations!

have you ever heard of the 8 pandas?
I did for the first time yesterday at BLICKFANG and I am very
impressed! dishes made out of bamboo – unfortunately not made for the
microwave so it will be nothing for me but they are dishwasher proof!

aww what a nice weekender bag and the best thing about it is that the bag is super light – perfect for a weekend trip! NOTO is a german brand and in case you wanna read more click here >>

SOEDER
has so many nice things – seriously I dunno were to start! they have
beautiful things for the kitchen, nice deco things and lots of gorgeous
makeup. I will for sure visit their shop a bit more often – it is in
Basel at Spalenberg 38 – read more about them here >>

PARK BAGS
– THIS IS PARK are from St Gallen in Switzerland and sell a nice
variety of leather bags. again I liked the weekender bag the best – what
does that say about me 🙂 read more about the label here >>

lovely earrings by FRAISE & FRAMBOISE
– my favorite one is the one with the rose stones hanging in front and
in the back of the ear. the label is from Zurich and in case you are

so simple and so nice – klybeck. I met Baptiste at the designbox fair in Basel where we were neighbours with our booths. we exchanged email addresses and also saw eachother at the blickfang where he showed his work. there were so many people at the blickfang that I really had a hard time taking photos but I really wanted to show you his awesome work and asked him to send me some photos and answer me 3 questions. he did – and now I can show you! sharing is caring, right?

it was the BLICKFANG weekend in Basel and I had a good time strolling around looking for nice things to share with you among my blog. I saw a lot, a lot of nice and rather not so nice things, a lot of jewelry, clothes and furniture. At the exit I was asked to write an article for WOHNREVUE about the Blickfang visit.
