BLICKFANG BASEL 2015

today was the last day of blickfang basel. I think this year has been a success as there were a lot of people at hall 3.

I absolutely loved the subtle design of the iranian fashion label LIDA NOBA and will def keep an eye on her future work. it was also super nice to chat with her about Iran and its fashion culture.

another cool label is AIKYOU the lingerie brand for small busts. they use bio cotton and produce their collection in germany. thats awesome and especially when you consider the prices – read more about them here <<

and then I discovered the beautiful ceramics by andrea baumann from austria. I am thinking about getting some for my bathroom to put my daily jewelry or for the kitchen to put salt or nuts 🙂

and I can not decide between the white with the golden edge or the white one with the golden inside…

SPRING IN SIGHT?

good morning my dear friends! what a nice way to start the day, the sun kissed my forhead and now I am ready to start this beautiful spring day! I found cute little croissants at MIGROS and thats what I had for breakfast. mmhhmmm! unfortunately I have to go to the hospital for a MRI check-up and hopefully everything will go as smooth as possible! #fingerscrossed

todays outfit is a rather simple one and I took the photos before the easter weekend – I really love my new hair color and I am so thankful to be one of Stefanie Winters clients. soon more about her on the blog – stay tuned!

I have been wearing some pieces over and over again in differnt outfits and when I was strolling thru my archive I realized which pieces were shown most often on my blog and I felt like summing it up with a favorite pieces blogpost.

this pink skirt that I have found at the fleamarket is one of my favorite skirts and I just absolutely love wearing shades of pink! the skirt looks like someone has sewed it for themselves and there is also no label or tag. so special!

black fake leather skirts in different versions with zipper or without over the knee or mini – I just love wearing fake leather skirts.

the GANNI floral blouse is a real eyecather and also a very comfortable piece to wear. I paired it with shorts and skirts and I totally love to play with different patterns!

the fluffy rosa sweater is also one of my favorite pieces and as I have already told you I love wearing shades of pink. here you can see two of my favorite pieces combined: the fake leather skirt and the fluffy rosa sweater.

and again you can see my awesome pink skirt – it works with flats or heels with different shades of pink or any other colors a real key piece!

the embellished neopren piece is also a very favorite piece of my wardrobe and I love to wear it with either grey or yellow. and thats where my slim straight grey pencil skirt comes in handy – and I saw it is still available at H&M!

a combo of my floral GANNI blouse and the awesome special pink skirt! I am so in love with these two pieces and I can not wait to show you more ways of wearing them.  and guess what the grey platform heels that I am wearing in this picture are on SALE right now 55 CH instead of 80 CHF! here <<

I HAVE FOUND SOMETHING NICE

how do you like these nice pieces? I have spend the last hour strolling thru the internet shops and looking for some must have pieces for spring summer or awesome keypieces for all year around. I think I found six amazing pieces and they can be all worn in many different ways!

#1 a long blazer – everyone should have a long blazer in black as it can be worn with a simple jeans and shirt look or it can be worn over a nice dress or for a more summery look it can be worn over shorts!

#2 a grey tank top – for me this is a serious must have or key piece as it can be dressed up and down and is great for layering looks in fall/winter.

#3 a golden bag – yes we all should feel our princess gen and I totally feel mine and I love metallic clutches and bags. and like with the blazer this bag can be worn with the most elegant dress or with a cool boyfriend jeans look.

#4 a chunky necklace – that is something we should all have one as it can be worn for everyday or for a more special outfit going to the opera or having a fancy tete a tete dinner.

#5 a lace skirt – yay, already last year they came in fashion and I absolutely love the pale rose color of that very one I have found. wear it with a tucked in blouse or with a normal t-shirt with flats or heels for day time or a party night!

#6 black sandal heels – speaking of a party night everyone should have at least one pair of black heels and most importantly they should be comfortable in order to dance all night long on them. I found these awesome sandals and I would totally wear them with jeans, shorts or a dress meaning from day time casual to a hot elegant party night.

I got these awesome red studded velvet pants from my mom as a present – we found them together at the MOUTON A 5 PATTES boutique for 17 CHF – what a bargain! they are amazingly comfortable and can be worn with black, white, blue, grey or brown. yay – I love versatile things that are special!

MAKE UP SESSION ONE with lovely Diana

last weekend I had the pleasure to use some of my new makeup products on Diana. we ended up using the new SISLEY phyto 4 ombres and we both really like the colors and luckily we also both like the result.

so what was I doing? I was using the lighter grey color all over the lid (but not all the way up to the brow) then I used the darker grey and i drew a V shape on the outer corner of the eye. because I have already done Dianas foundation and concealing I wanted to be prepared for any fall out from the eyeshadow and thats why I used lots of loose transparent powder under her eyes – in case of fall out you just brush the powder away with a fan brush and there will be no smudges or darker spots below the eyes. so we have the light grey almost all over the lid and the V in the outer corner in the darker grey – the next step is blending the V with a nice fluffy crease brush. I took the blue color and blended it all over the lid. as a last step I used the light grey color and smudged it very lightly along the water line. VOILA that is the complete eye look with the new SISLEY phyto 4 ombres in 2 mystery!

yay the sun is out! it is almost a shame that I am showing you a black and white look instead of something colorful 🙂

this is a way to wear leggings without showing your butt. I am not a big fan of leggings and short top outfits and therefore I always make sure to wear something long with leggings. so an easy tip would be to grab your friends, boyfriends or brothers shirt and wear it under your shirt or sweater – I looooove this look. ready in 5 minutes 🙂

SOMETHING NEW in my wardrobe

yay – thank you so so much Carlita’s Collezione for sending me this lovely rosa leather jacket – it is perfect and totally made my day.

back in the days at the designbox (read more >> here) Carlita’s Collezione had her booth next to mine and thats how I found out about her gorgeous collections and awesome surf trips to Bali Indonesia. in case you wanna be super up to date follow her Instagram account!

as I was shopping a little at the SALE I have put together some outfits with the new pieces. the black coat, the sequin skirt, the gem-stone print skirt and the rosa wool cardigan. with help of polyvore I made these collages. there are so many ways to wear these items and I am sure I will show you many more. I am such a big fan of skirts and those two skirts are so special and can be worn with all different kind of tops.

NEW leather jacket

aaw, I finally took the photos of my new leather jacket that I have found on SALE at the EDWIN outlet in Weil am Rhein, Germany. 90 Euro instead of 450 Euro – another bargain! EDWIN is a japanese brand from tokyo and the jacket is from the MEN section – hahahahaha, yeah, I know, this happens a lot to me – I often end up in the MEN department and I always find something nice – I would be for a neutral department – women – men and both <3 today I am also wearing a shirt and turtle neck from the men department. the shop next door to EDWIN is the CARHARTT outlet and there I have found another super bargain – a nice beige wool scarf for 10 Euros.

another outfit on the blog, this time I am layering my green fluffy funny COMME DES GARCONS jacket by JUNYA WATANABE with the super warm down jacket by C&A (fair down production – read more here >>) this look is a very casual one with a big mix of high and low end clothes. something I love to do is mixing styles and different brands – how boring would it look to wear a head to toe GUCCI outfit – no thanks!
