I got a pair of new jeans – yay and they fit perfectly. people you know that I dislike shopping for pants and jeans but sometimes I am very lucky, like in that very case with my new pair of LEVI’S 711 skinny jeans that found their way into my closet.
hands down, these are my most favorite skinny jeans, they are very comfy and light to wear and what I love most about them is the washing, so in love with this shade. FALLEN ROCKS is the name of this wash and it goes with everything, black, blue, different colors and brown.
“our signature LOT 700 fits are the ultimate look. amazing jeans, designed to flatter, hold and lift-all day, everyday. mid rise and slim through hip and thigh.”
jup, I dunno what else to add, this is it. perfect jeans. the only thing to complain about today is the weather but lets hope for better days next week. HAPPY SUNDAY!
this is a real up and down mix aka old and new mix as I am wearing a vintage VALENTINO miss V silk blouse that I have found at the fleamarket, the new LEVI’S jeans, the LANVIN blazer for the H&M collection and my new white leather lasercut pumps from BATA that I have found on SALE. lots of older things mixed with new things. so again, it doesnt matter how much you spend on your outfit, its the way you wear it, your attitude that will make it look even better. I have literally spent 20 CHF for the vintage silk blouse 🙂 what a bargain. keep your eyes open!

last weekend I was in KARLSRUHE for the #kbreise15 and it was a blast. I met lots of nice bloggers and saw many nice things. I already put all my impressions in one post and soon there will be part two of the days in BASEL, where I actually wanted to blog about the new awesome MARLENE DUMAS exhibition but due to photoright issues I will focus on the guy with the special story about a remote island that might not even exist and spices that bring you around the world. stay tuned for that. until then I wanna show you my new outfit inspiration, what do you think of the combination of red and brown? I love it!

and now you might wonder why I am so happy, for sure not about the weather! no, I am happy because I got all my tickets and invitation ready for next week and at the moment I am deciding what to wear. so many options I bet you know what I mean. I have stuff! and some things are so old, like this red GUESS dress that I am wearing today. I bought it in the US in 2003! some things are meant to last! : )
and with a smile on my lips and a big grin I say thank you for reading and in case you have not registered for your free ticket for BASEL NACHT at VOLTA11 then do that now:
HAPPY WEDNESDAY! X
spring has begun and I started to change my wardrobe and I brought the nice spring coats from the back to the front. today I wanna show you a very nice simple two tone look with beige and pink!
I love the COSMPOPARIS heels and I am more than happy to have found them ON SALE last year! the pink coat is kind of famous as it has made its way to some international blogs – have a look here << or here << or here <<

I love mix and matching one or two colors and I think that this is a very nice way to create stylish looks with little effort. I am more than happy about springs arrival and the only thing I have to get used to is the lost hour in the morning 🙂
HAPPY SUNDAY everyone – lots of love and try to relax and maybe start reading your new book or clean up your closet 🙂 X
two colors one look by isawsomethingnice.ch
for the readers among you that remember criss cross and how they wore their pants the wrong way around I had exactly such a moment when I was wearing this outfit last week. 🙂
the gorgeous black PARENTI’S cashemere sweater has a HUGE V-neck and I really didnt feel like wearing a top below or taping the sweater to my boobs – so I took a criss cross decision and wore the sweater the wrong way around and it actually didnt feel so bad at all and also it didnt look too bad either. for future times I would totally do it the same way!

aaww the sun is out and one can start wearing midi skirts without tights and socks – yay! I was waiting for this the last 6 months! I love to mix different clothes that I have been wearing during winter and make a more spring-ish outfit out of it. this neoprene skirt is from the H&M winter collection and it has a perfect length for todays weather! my newest bargain are these lovely heart ballerinas that I have showed you before in my zalando shopping haul – unfortunately I can not link you to the shoes as they are currently sold out!

I will share all the photos of that look via my facebook page. stay tuned. X
a new dress found its way to my wardrobe!
yay – the sun is out we already passed the month of January so what I am trying to say is we are almost done with winter. or at least thats what I extremly wish for. at the H&M Clarashopping I have found this lovely striped dress for 29.90 CHF and as I was returning several bags of old clothes I got a 5 CHF discount voucher that I have used for the dress – so even a bigger bargain!
the color green mixed with blue and white is a cry for summer – not kidding this reminds me so much of the clear water of the ocean. currently I have seen many cool things in the color blue and green. last week at the Estée Lauder press event I was given a fantastic blue eyeliner pencil in the color COBALT BLUE and it is a dream – in fact I am wearing it today on my upper lash line. another color that drew my attention is the KURE BAZAAR nailpolish in KALE – a wonderful dark subtle green! unfortunately the new green is not on the chart yet. more about these nailpolishes soon on the blog.

so I met my friend on saturday morning to take some photos for the blog and as soon as we where at the rhein it started to snow heavily 🙂 and ooh boy it also started to wind and I was freezing my ass off. but nevertheless I wanted to show you two new lovely things. first of all my super awesome mesh jersey shirt and my stylish navy wool hat. both are swiss brands – the shirt is swiss design by lola FRED and the hat is swiss made by RISA and heidi.com <3
I was so inspired by this lovely photo via tumblr that I had to wear something similar. of course I did not want to copy the complete outfit but pick up some pieces like the pants and the coat – colorwise I think I could have done a bit more but hey – these are the clothes I have and I need to work with them. the funny thing about those super old H&M pants is that many times they were on the way out and were very close to being sold at the fleamarket but somehow they have always found back the way to my closet and today I am very happy that they did.

awww.. I got these lovely cups from my grandma and I used to play with them when I was a child. drinking out of these today brings back lots of memories – only good memories. our grandma let us (my cousins and me) drink coffee (of course diluted with milk) and this made us feel like tiny grown-ups. I am so happy that we took such good care of the cups so that I can still enjoy them and embrace the flashback that comes with them.
so with christmas around the corner I am getting into a cozy mood and I decided to celebrate my tea and coffee times a bit more – et voila! I wish you all a happy monday and lets start an amazing week! xx
a beige midi wool skirt that I have found at the LE MOUTON A 5 PATTES outlet boutique for 54 CHF instead of 187 CHF – what a bargain. for the people in basel this place is def worth a visit – for men and women!
