todays outfit inspiration is a rather casual one involving black, white, a destroyed pair of jeans and red. I got this sweater at the H&M BALMAIN SALE in Basel and I love it. It is a great key piece for my wardrobe as I can wear it with jeans for a more casual look or with pants or skirts for a more chic occasion.
it is september and fall is around the corner. these days are the last days to wear skirts and t-shirts and I wanna embrace that with todays outfit inspiration post. its the time to wear your favorite dresses and skirts for the last time this year and today I am showing you my favorite orange skirt by VALENTINO with my rather new silver TARA JARMON top. todays motto: CHIC FOR FALL !

the best thing about fall is that I can enjoy a hot bath tub again, I love to take baths and soak in the tub for almost an hour : ) so yesterday I repurchased my beloved DRESDNER ESSENZ bath scents, they are amazing, for only 1.50 CHF you have a lovely smelling either relaxing or stimulating bath scents, with bubbles or without. I am not sponsored by them : ) I just really love their products. I will soon get more into details about their bath scents.
mix and match, is my favorite thing to do, and I am sure you can remember this orange skirts from previous outfits before. and thats what fashion is all about for me, it should be versatile. I love to wear my clothes in different ways and love how things look more casual or more elegant. see the different outfits at the very end. HAPPY TUESDAY and enjoy wearing your skirts and tops. X
TOP AND SKIRT – different ways to wear them
I think this is my first crop top outfit on the blog EVER and I am wearing it at the very last moment of the season before its getting too cold and the freezing winter season starts. I got this lovely black crop top from the wonderful Halle and she gave it to me in order to wear it with my lovely Ioana Ciolacu dress that I was wearing for the VOLTA11 event. see more here >>
heels L’AUTRE CHOSE
earrings THOMAS SABO
this is a very casual way of wearing a crop top as I am not wearing any heavy jewelry nor other accessories other than my small black earrings. in my opinion black and pink go well but its a thin line, sometimes it can look really really cheap, I hope you agree that this look doesn’t.
how to wear crop tops?
I love to wear crop tops with high waisted pencil skirts. crop tops can be either loose or fitted. in case you are not a skirt person and you have a very nice belly to show the world, but really only then, you can wear a crop top with a nice pair of boyfriend jeans. I have an oversized loose cashmere crop top that I was wearing with destroyed boyfriend jeans before but since the top is rather oversized you can not really see my belly : ) so as I said I prefer to only show a tiny line between top and bottom, I find somehow the crop top outfits look a bit more elegant and less revealing like that. I am not a teenager anymore ; ) and I also dont have Miley Cyrus as my role model, chchchchchch.
here you can see the oversized cashmere top with a black pencil skirt >>
and here with a different black skirt >> and soon I will show you my boyfriend jeans + crop top outfit. stay tuned. X
september has come and it is somehow the the time to say good bye to summer and welcome fall. lets hope for a beautiful sunny fall with little rain and grey days. todays outfit reminds me very much of my grandma as I am wearing her coat, she passed away this January and I learned so many things in regards to crafting and sewing from her. <3
I love playing with different shades of beige and blue and wanted to share with you my new cut off jeans. these are very very old jeans, I think these were the first edition of the squin jeans by H&M : ) one could almost call them vintage. so my problem is that often the jeans are too long for my legs and I end up tucking them in. so instead of tucking in I decided to cut off. zack!
this is a perfect sunday outfit – very comfy and casual. I am absolutely a jeans person and will always grab a pair for a casual look. another thing that I think works very nicely is mixing beige and blue, and wearing different shades of the two colors. now in fall it is the season to wear your sandals and peeptoes for the last time with jeans instead of dresses before it will be too cold… awww, I dont wanna think about winter. it is my least favorite season, I dont like being in the house all the time and the only good thing about winter is the layering. hahahaha, yes, I love layering looks, it keeps me warm and I get to wear more of my favorite pieces at once.
Happy Sunday – lots of love. X
last weekend I was in KARLSRUHE for the #kbreise15 and it was a blast. I met lots of nice bloggers and saw many nice things. I already put all my impressions in one post and soon there will be part two of the days in BASEL, where I actually wanted to blog about the new awesome MARLENE DUMAS exhibition but due to photoright issues I will focus on the guy with the special story about a remote island that might not even exist and spices that bring you around the world. stay tuned for that. until then I wanna show you my new outfit inspiration, what do you think of the combination of red and brown? I love it!
lips MAC RED
and now you might wonder why I am so happy, for sure not about the weather! no, I am happy because I got all my tickets and invitation ready for next week and at the moment I am deciding what to wear. so many options I bet you know what I mean. I have stuff! and some things are so old, like this red GUESS dress that I am wearing today. I bought it in the US in 2003! some things are meant to last! : )
and with a smile on my lips and a big grin I say thank you for reading and in case you have not registered for your free ticket for BASEL NACHT at VOLTA11 then do that now:
HAPPY WEDNESDAY! X
for quiet some time I was looking for a white oversized sweater and finally I found one when I was strolling thru the H&M in Weil am Rhein. the cut is really oversized as I am wearing the size XS and I feel it is quiet big already. so today I wanna show you two different versions of the white shirt: a casual one – the one you can see above and below and an elegant one that will follow.
I really had an amazing sunday today – I slept until eleven and then had a nice breakfast followed by some blog work and delicious frozen joghurt – mmmhhhmmm. then I took these photos and in the end I found time to sit at the rhein in the sun. now I wanna show you the same shirt in a more elegant way – have a look:
same shirt different style. thats done very easily with such a bling bling sequin skirt like this one. I am so glad I waited for it to be on SALE and cost half as much as it would have before. : ) and I guess that thought and the sunny weather made me dance a bit.
I also found another nice piece in Weil am Rhein and I hope that I can show it to you very soon. have a lovely start into the week. X
good morning my dear friends! what a nice way to start the day, the sun kissed my forhead and now I am ready to start this beautiful spring day! I found cute little croissants at MIGROS and thats what I had for breakfast. mmhhmmm! unfortunately I have to go to the hospital for a MRI check-up and hopefully everything will go as smooth as possible! #fingerscrossed
todays outfit is a rather simple one and I took the photos before the easter weekend – I really love my new hair color and I am so thankful to be one of Stefanie Winters clients. soon more about her on the blog – stay tuned!

I have recently shopped at zalando.ch and I have found some lovely things: read my shopping haul post here << so I am wearing the floral pants – the grey leather pumps – the cute pearl earrings and the lovely beige bag with the pink wallet inside!
spring in sight! today I wanna show you a nice mix of my beloved roy lichtenstein pattern coat, a simple black dress and 2 bright accessories: my red shoes and my red hat! I mean it doesnt have to be a comic pattern coat – it could be any kind of pattern or mix of bright colors that can be combined with black and one of the colors from the coat. in my case it was red black and the pattern from the coat!
I am so in love with that coat and I was wearing it in Paris during fashion in october 2013 and IT caught some nice attention. BIG thanks you to Julie’s mom for the hand me down of that very coat! I was being featured on the dutch blog TRENDBUBBLES http://trendbubbles.nl/paris-fashion-week-street-style-roy-lichtenstein/ and on EASY FASHION PARIS blog http://easyfashion.blogspot.ch/2013/10/lea-les-tuileries-paris.html and what made the happiest was that I was being photographed by BILL CUNNINGHAM and he gave me a thumbs up for my coat <3

aaww the sun is out and one can start wearing midi skirts without tights and socks – yay! I was waiting for this the last 6 months! I love to mix different clothes that I have been wearing during winter and make a more spring-ish outfit out of it. this neoprene skirt is from the H&M winter collection and it has a perfect length for todays weather! my newest bargain are these lovely heart ballerinas that I have showed you before in my zalando shopping haul – unfortunately I can not link you to the shoes as they are currently sold out!

this is my tiny hope that spring will arrive early this year 🙂 and therefore I have put together this pastel – floral outfit. I have showed you my zalando spring haul a couple of days ago and today I am finally wearing my new grey pumps by tamaris. they are extremly comfy – the first time that I wear tamaris shoes and I am quiet impressed! due to the platform the actual heel is not so tall and one can really feel that when walking and standing for longer periods.
