I DID IT – I tested some MASCARAS and had a bit of help with testing them. I am not a daily mascara user and I had my issues with several other mascaras before so therefore I am the best judge 🙂 I found all of them for very very decent prices at the parfumcity online shop and I couldnt believe what awesome products they sell there, absolutely worth to visit. ok, lets have a look at different mascaras for different purposes.

ASTOR big and beautiful boom killer volume mascara
oh wow – yes this mascara makes BIG and BEAUTIFUL lashes. I love the wand and the product stays put the whole day without irritating my eyes.. I hate it when mascaras flake and often the tiny parts end up in my eyes – so thats a BIG plus for that one and actually all the other ones I have tested. not one flaked! another nice thing is that you can either wear one coat for a rather casual look and then later on apply more coats for a more dramatic eyemakeup. 11.75 CHF (mascara 12ml, makeupremover)
BOURJOIS PARIS volume glamour mascara
this mascara promises VOLUME and GLAMOUR and I felt both, the wand separates the lashes and therefore applies more volume the glamour factor comes with the rest of the makeup and the compliments that one gets for her mascara! compared to the ASTOR mascara this one is a bit more decent and less dramatic. perfect for everyday business look. 10.75 CHF (mascara 12ml + kajal)

volume in one second, well that was not true for me as it takes me a bit longer to apply mascara 🙂 but once I was done there was the volume. so far all of the mascaras have held their promises and thats a big PLUS. the 1 SECOND volume mascara has a medium sized wand and separates the lashes like the volume glamour mascara. I felt like this one is a bit more dramatic than the one mentioned before. but still after layering a couple of coats I had a very stunning eye look.

LANCOME hypnose drama mascara
the queen among the mascaras and not only due to its prize. I can really see a difference between this high end product and the rather cheaper ones. so in the end you get what you pay. I know, it is not always the case, some cheaper products can do more than other more expensive ones but with the mascaras I gotta stick to what I said. you feel the difference in the consistency and how easy it can be removed. thats a huge bonus because our eyes area are very sensitive and rubbing the eyes with a cotton pad full of eye makeup remover irritates the skin. I got the DRAMA mascara in a set with eyemakeUp remover and I found that a great deal!

I got these awesome red studded velvet pants from my mom as a present – we found them together at the MOUTON A 5 PATTES boutique for 17 CHF – what a bargain! they are amazingly comfortable and can be worn with black, white, blue, grey or brown. yay – I love versatile things that are special!

I have already showed you my new bowl by mebel in previous posts but today I really wanna mention it here on my blog and show you where to purchase it. my impressions from the event in Basel at the SBB train station. I was not lucky at all but it was fun to watch other people win! you had one try to grab a bronze ball = free shoes or black ball = 30 CHF or 50 CHF voucher in 15 seconds or like I did to grab nothing but air.
I can highly recommend to check the ORIGINALS collection as the shoes look really solid and are made out of solid leather but they weigh almost nothing. that was my biggest surprise when I held one of the Chelsea boots and I couldnt believe that they were so light. that was also the time when I got the brown and not the bronze Chelsea boots for myself. I can not wait to show you my boots and the way I wear them with jeans and dresses! stay tuned for more!

I got something new to share with you. a tiny piece of plastic that makes me smile! I am talking about the LOMOGRAPHY camera with the fisheye lense that I got via isda.ch. I am really trying to stick to summer but hey I live in switzerland and fall has already hit us! anyway I have found a nice way to keep summer in my life by using these awesome producst for my hair! not only the products scream summer but also the scents. all of these products have to be applied to wet hair and make big, full, wavy, voluminous hair.
I have already showed you the TOTALLY BAKED product a couple weeks ago – for the folks who have not read this yet can read it here » it has such a lovely sweet lemon tarte scent – mmhhmm! another favorite of mine is the L’Oreal Professionnel DUAL STYLERS by tecni.ART BOUNCY & TENDER – a cream and gel duo for defined and soft curls. such a funny tube as it has two tubes in one. the outer one holds the gel and the inner one holds the cream. I am in love with the scent – I really wanna rub this thing all over my body 🙂 because of its good scent. last but not least my newest product is the ROLLAND OWAY FLUX POTION – soft-hold sculpting fluid with biodynamic marrubium, organic black quinoa, aamla and ethically-produced marula. it is fragrance free and paraben free but still it has a very fresh lemony scent. it gives my hair a nice grip and I feel it is a lot easier to blowdry with a round bristle brush.

one of my favorite looks – the bronzed sunkissed look. again I will tell you a bit about the zalandosummerhouse. we arrived thursday night and were arriving with this old beautiful omnibus. the next day started with yoga in the garden. there were different workshops to attend like the mint&berry streetstyle workshop, the make your own flower bouquet and the make your own summerhat workshop. unfortunately that very day the weather was not as good as it was the day before but we made the best out of it. Michèle from fashionfraction Blog took some funny photos where I am running in the rain. they will be soon on the blog.
the castle herzfelde and its surrounding is such a beautiful place. endless lawns of green, greenhouses, fields, trees that were shaped in cubes. I was thinking a lot about Alice in Wonderland. the park around the castle had several places that reminded me of the story. here you can read more about my time at the #zalandosummerhouse – enjoy! xx
