I wanna let you know that all the clothes that I am wearing on the blog are in my wardrobe and that I am not accepting any other cooperations where I have to return the clothes and make it look like I have all these clothes but in fact I don’t. this would feel like cheating to you guys and to myself too. anyway, now that I have said that I wanna share some outfit inspirations with a basic silver top and pants by TARA JARMON available via @fashionvestis and how I was wearing this look in three different ways – hence the title: mix what you have!

so with great basic pieces you can make even a small wardrobe very versatile its just the way you combine and mix what with what. for these inspirations I wanted the look to be light and elegant but suitable for all the different occasions.
what would i wear to a gallery opening?
what would I wear for a dinner or even a business meeting?
what would I wear every day?
what are basic pieces for me? hmm it could be the best white t-shirt or the perfect skinny jeans, the best fitting black blazer or comfy black heels. these are all things that can always pull a great outfit. a grat matching top and pants are also great as they can be worn individualy or together. so when I am talking about basic pieces I mean clothes that can be well combined.

I did something that I rarely ever do. I am wearing top and bottom the same brand and it is not H&M, hahahaha. : ) nooo, it is TARA JARMON. a big up for this amazing french designer.

a rather simple but AHA outfit. one color is dominating and there is lots of sparkle and shine from the top and pants. therefore I didnt feel like adding any heavy golden or silver jewelry and only chose two matching accessories: the white shoes by BATA and the cute clock bag and black sunglasses by C&A. I absolutely love the shoes with this outfit for me this is a match made in heaven as I first did not really know with what I should wear these super high white heels.
I first fell in love with the silver top and actually wanted to pair it with the red skirt that unfortunately had a broken zipper but then in the end I found the matching pants and taataaaaa this is MY FASHION VESTIS LOOK. NUDES
as I already mentioned via Facebook and Instagram I will show you how I wear my nudes! I got a nude pair of chunky platform sandals – a pair of sleek slingback stilettos and a pair of sandals with a chunky heel.

a very simple mix of pastels and floral prints with a light makeup using pink lipstick and creamy shiny eyeshadow. an outfit for every day to work or a nice weekend outfit – very subtle and light!

this is a more elegant way to dress oneself – I love to mix different brown and I think it always looks good with nude shoes! with this lovely silk blouse the brown red pants look very chic and elegant!
#sandals with a block heel
this is my city look and due to its chunky heel these shoes are very nice for a city trip as they are comfy to walk in. also the outfit is a very simple one as you just have to wear that striped summer dress put on your sunglasses, grab your purse and you are ready!

I got new pants – yay! as you all know I love shopping BUT I really don’t like to shop for pants.. it always takes forever until I find a good pair that fits me. 🙂 I found these black comfy pants at the ESPRIT basel shop on SALE. I don’t really often wear black and white outfits but I think I should do it a bit more. thanks thomas for taking these photos!

my impressions from the event in Basel at the SBB train station. I was not lucky at all but it was fun to watch other people win! you had one try to grab a bronze ball = free shoes or black ball = 30 CHF or 50 CHF voucher in 15 seconds or like I did to grab nothing but air.
I can highly recommend to check the ORIGINALS collection as the shoes look really solid and are made out of solid leather but they weigh almost nothing. that was my biggest surprise when I held one of the Chelsea boots and I couldnt believe that they were so light. that was also the time when I got the brown and not the bronze Chelsea boots for myself. I can not wait to show you my boots and the way I wear them with jeans and dresses! stay tuned for more!

unfortunately I couldnt go to Paris this year to visit the fashionweek as I am not feeling too well at the moment. I am very much looking forward to going next year in february/march. so today I am showing you this gorgeous blue silk dress by ACNE that I paired with the gorgeous new shoes that I have found at the fashionffish outlet from NAVYBOOT and the awesome silver clutch and the beige teddy from the DIESEL sample sale in Zurich. thank you Thomas for taking the photos!

at the moment the clutch bag is my favorite bag! its such an easy fashion statement piece. I found this one at RIVE GAUCHE in Basel and its by L’AUTRE CHOSE. one side has studs and spikes and the other side is plain black leather. in the beginning I found it very hard to switch from a rather big sized bag to such a tiny clutch bag. but now that I got used to only bring the most important things I can easily handle it! I will soon show you a whats in my bag blogpost. stay tuned! xx

yesterday my Blog turned four years – wow! thank you all for being here, reading my posts, reblogging them and of course thanks to the great tumblr staff <3 I will continue to feed your dash!
this february I started to work 100% on my own blog and also started blogging for other brands and shops. I am a fulltime blogger if you wanna say so 🙂 I fullfilled my own dream and started I SAW SOMETHING NICE and until today I can not get enough of sharing is caring and will of course succeed. there is always more to do, right?
