I got new pants – yay! as you all know I love shopping BUT I really don’t like to shop for pants.. it always takes forever until I find a good pair that fits me. 🙂 I found these black comfy pants at the ESPRIT basel shop on SALE. I don’t really often wear black and white outfits but I think I should do it a bit more. thanks thomas for taking these photos!
have you seen the ANDY WARHOL limited edition by ABSOLUT ?
I got a bottle and was able to serve it to my dear friends and the coolest things are litterally the glasses – they are made out of ice! cheers!
a rather casual and comfy outfit that I am showing you today. but I am very happy with my newest purchase of jeans. in fact they are my new favorite jeans. I found out that the perfect length for me is to buy short sizes. luckily C&A runs short (and long) sizes and the 36 short fits me perfectly. another favorite of mine is the NINO BOLLAG jacket – a great piece to slack over almost every outfit. I guess thats why it is a favorite. when I think about my favorite clothing items I see that many of them can be worn in various ways with lots of different other things. what is your favorite piece? let me know. xx

thomas visited the exhibition and the lecture of the architect DANIEL LIBESKIND. as he is an architect it was really nice to have his view on that topic. the lecture was called “my visions”. DANIEL LIBESKIND informed about the visions and ideas behind different projects and how he approaches the different fields involved. he also had a rather unconventional start into architecture as he first studied music and therefore has a different access to form and design. thomas really liked the way he talked about his ideas and visions and the fact that he also involved music in the jewish museum, one of DANIEL LIBESKIND most famous project. the exhibition showed nice objects in unconventional and complex ways meaning not always in the classy way: poster and model but were made with attention to detail and work.
«architecture is not based on concrete and steel and the elements of the soil. It’s based on wonder. and that wonder is really what has created the greatest cities, the greatest spaces that we have had.» DANIEL LIBESKIND
and it is my new SONY phone aka camera. I have played with the camera for the last couple of days and I still can not decide whether I like this one or the SAMSUNG alpha better. I think it is very hard to tell the difference of the quality, it is just a different handling. the coolest thing about the camera is the timelapse, hahaha, I had so much fun testing this out, and of course I had to take a “baywatch”-like running slow motion video. 🙂 I love love love the color, it reminds me of TIFFANY & CO! for the ones among you that are interested in more info about the phone please read more here «
I am getting into a cosy fall mood with my scottish wool poncho. thank you dad & monika for bringing me this awesome piece from Scottland! tartan or plaid however you wanna call it is really BIG this season and you can see it everywhere. I love the combination of wool and plaid – like this the fall feeling shows off best and gets you into a cuddling mood. what I love about plaid is that you can mix and match it with almost everything. here I was going for a rather classy elegant look but there are so many other ways to wear plaid. I think it is time for a plaid special. I did one last year already when I fell in love with the plaid skirt by MINT&BERRY – read more here « and here «

I did it. I went BIG. not that size matters in general – but here it does 🙂 I found this lovely piece at the ADVOLAT webshop and was thinking about it for the last couple of weeks before I ended up getting it. Cristian has the ADVOLAT CITY watch and I once stole his watch for a day and really enjoyed wearing a big watch. so this one the FLIEGER 2 is in fact slightly bigger than Cristians one.
I found my nice light blue turtleneck sweater at C&A and will find as many ways as possible to wear it. that very day I was wearing it with a fakeleather pencilskirt and heels but ofcourse there are also many other more casual ways to wear it. stay tuned for more.
another photo from the blue outfit I was wearing the other day. here you can also see the beautiful plaid cape I have by NINO BOLLAG. I am so happy to be still able to wear dresses with bare legs in october.
choosing one main color and then mixing different shades is one of my favorite things to do. that very day I was in a red mood! I found these awesome silk polkadot pants at the TROIS POMMES luxury vintage in Basel and think they work perfect with the burgundy red suede platform pumps that I found at RIVE GAUCHE in Basel. my latest piece is the sweet grey bag with zippers – so happy that I found this one.
unfortunately I couldnt go to Paris this year to visit the fashionweek as I am not feeling too well at the moment. I am very much looking forward to going next year in february/march. so today I am showing you this gorgeous blue silk dress by ACNE that I paired with the gorgeous new shoes that I have found at the fashionffish outlet from NAVYBOOT and the awesome silver clutch and the beige teddy from the DIESEL sample sale in Zurich. thank you Thomas for taking the photos!
ha, it looks like I am in a blue mood these last couple of days! when I looked at my instagram the color blue was dominating my dashboard. well, what can I say it is true from a fashion point of view other than that I am not feeling blue at all!
shading blue was one of my last photoshoots for my blog and for the ones who have not read this blogpost yet you can do so now and here >>
I found this lovely piece at the ESPRIT onlineshop and have already introduced you to my new coat – anyway, I wanted to show you my full outfit as this was not really the case in the other blogpost – read the previous post here >>
one of my favorite things about fashion is to mix and match or mismatch! and the best thing is to stay within one color but try to wear different shades of the same color as I did it with my outfit above! often I do it with blue grey or brown as I think these colors have the most beautiful shades and will not make you look too colorful!
I just realized how many cool pieces I have found at fleamarkets all over the world. I always end up finding something nice that I absolutely need to have! but so far I have never regreted any purchase! 🙂
