after a very nice welcome I was served a cold glass of water and was ready for the presentation. we quickly talked about the different lines and their benefits and then she started to ask me questions about my skin and recommended some products:

so let me tell you that I am not a big fan of their crazy high prices and that I am not willing to pay so much money for daily skincare. I got samples and I started using them for some days and had terrible breakouts, for my sensitive skin LA PRAIRIE is way too active.

first I was not sure if I should mention LA PRAIRIE at all as my skin did not like the recommended products but nevertheless I was invited to see the new booth inside GLOBUS, had a lovely time there and therefore I wanted to share these news with you.

SELF TAN EXPRESS MOUSSE, thats on my to do list today!
it is time to test some beauty products and feel like a pampered princess. so what is most important to start spring?

exfoliating and scrubbing to get rid of dead skin and to prepare for an
awesome looking fake tan! I use many different products to exfoliate for
example one from the body shop, one from Clinique, one from Palmolive
and one by M.Asam they are all good and do what they need to.

after I exfoliated my skin it is time to moisturize my ankles, feet, ellbows and knees – these are all rather dry parts of the body and we dont want them to stick out and be darker.

start with the legs and work your way up by using the mitt – apply only what is left on the mitt as a last step to ellbows, feet, knees and ankles. leave on for ONE hour for a rather light tan – TWO hours of a medium tan and THREE hours for a dark tan. I did it last week for the first time and I was quiet scared and only left it for 45 minutes but the result was gorgeous. I got some nice compliments on the tan on my belly and this made me courageous enough to give it a second try and leave it for ONE hour 🙂 the tan gradually fades and there are no lines, no spots and no streaks! so I did it last night and this morning I woke up with a nicely tanned body – YAY!

so far I have used the LANCASTER products and I really like the ones for the face and I think I will use them both – the ST.TROPEZ for the body and the LANCASTER for the face – ready for spring and ready to show some legs!

AROMATICS IN WHITE something rather new by CLINIQUE

I got to try this new fragrance by CLINIQUE and I absolutely love the name and the packaging with its white bottle and golden ring around the lid. I also like the scent but I can’t see myself wearing this as I dont really like patchouli but I already have the perfect person in mind to wear it.

It is a modern fragrance touching base with natural ingredients for an elegant and mordern woman.

I got these two funny looking things the other day and it took a moment until I realized what they are for. so lets get started: the blue piece is by FOREO and it is called ISSA the revolutionary toothbrush to care for your smile. the ISSA is available at GLOBUS. the red cupcake is a vibrator by SHIRI ZINN, that of course also cares about your smile and pleasure. ha, do you see what I see. so funny that the toothbrush looks more phallic than the actual vibrator in cupcake disguise. these are my two new electronical gadgets and you can read more about them here:

its been a while since I have introduced you to the skinside beauty drink for either day or night and I have continued to drink it. I was very curious when I saw this product at GLOBUS in Basel and was eager to try it. well, what can I say, I still like the drink, its refreshing. I keep them in the fridge – the antiox for the day and the night balance for the night, as the name already implies 🙂 also in my previous post I have found it hard to judge this product. I dont believe that you can become beautiful by drinking these drinks but I feel that my skin is more even now. so it did something from the inside – impressive! thanks Julie for helping me take this photo! xx

SKINSIDE – the new cosmetic drink!

I am a very open person, open to a lot of things and always eager to try new things. So when I saw these products at GLOBUS Basel, I couldnt resist: I wanted to try these new skinside cosmetic drinks!

skinsinde cosmetic drink with collagen and swiss milk serum is available for day and night. I got both and I am currently drinkling the skinside antiox morning drinks.

its really hard to tell if I can already see any results of the drinks. the sun is out and this helps my skin to fight against blocked pores and such. I started drinking the SKINSIDE antiox 1 week ago and I am very sure that it needs a bit more time. overall I am very happy with my skin at the moment, so I will continue to drink the antiox for at least 2 more weeks and will get back to you before I start testing the night balance drinks.

note: this drink contains lactose – but in a very small dose. I am lactose intolerant and I didnt have any issues with these drinks.

I am trying something new – SWISS SMILE! a whitening toothpaste and conditioner that comes with two brushes. This was the starter kit that I have received to try. I started testing on March 3rd 2014 and soon I have been testing SWISS SMILE for one month straight! So you might ask yourself: what the heck is that, SWISS SMILE ? well, its easy, its a whitening toothbrush set made in Switzerland.

the bristles are very dense but soft, one is a bit more dense than the other. I like the brushes and would repurchase them!

Have you ever tried any whitening toothpaste before? I think they all smell the same.. It really makes the teeth whiter but in my case it was also queit harsh to my teethridge. I have very sensitive gums and thats why I think I am not the perfect person for this set. there is another set by the same brand and its called Herbal Style. I will give this one a try and will let you know how I like it!

aaw.. this is my favorite piece out of the set. I use it every night before going to bed and I can really feel and see a difference on my lower teeth. I think I will continue to use this conditioner together with the SWISS SMILE brushes and the herbal style toothpaste!

My main problems are my dry feet and heels. So the pedix FEET Heel Smoothing Stick is perfect for that! The product claims: “Its the ideal treatment for targeted relief of dry, cracked heels. What do I do before I apply the stick? I use the new TWEEZERMAN SoleMate Tools. It consists of 2 tools: a File and a Smoother. Soak your feet in lukewarm water, then scrub with Tweezerman’s Sole Mate Foot File and Smoother.

When I apply the herbbags at night, they are dry and have a rather light beige color. In the morning when I remove the pads, the herbbag is rather wet and turned almost black. So something is happening over night!
