Huile Precieuse a la Rose Noire by Sisley Paris will be available in September 2014. Thank you for inviting me to the pressconference in Zürich, it was such a nice day at the Dolder Grand.

as I am already a fan of the masque creme a la rose noire by sisley I was very excited to see that the soon to be launched product was also containing black rose. I am very happy to be able to test this product before it is available in the stores and I have been using it for the last couple of weeks and I really really love it! I use this precious face oil every other day and night and I think I will even love it more in winter when my skin is dryer. It can be used alone or under the moisturizer day and/or night.

hahahaha, well yes, it is really true! never change a winning team, right? thanks to Passion for Brands I can call MIA2 by Clarisonic and Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Face Wash my own and I love them both and when used together it’s like having a facial at the salon – every day! sigh! I have very sensitive skin with couperose on my cheeks and that’s why I have to be very delicate to my skin as it is irritated very easily. I use the Clarisonic brush for sensitive skin and a tiny bit of the Face Wash in the shower and it’s just the best way to clean my face in the morning!

KIEHL’S goodies

as I have already told you in my previous post the KIEHLS blogger meet and greet in Zurich was a blast. Ana from the Kiehls Team analyzed my skin and showed me products that would be perfect for me.

I already used Kiehls Centella Skin Calming Facial Cleanser to wash my face. After this step I used to apply the Calendula Herbal Extract Toner but as you can see in the photo above – its empty – so I am currently trying the Ultra Facial Toner – and I have to admit that I prefere the Calendula Toner 🙂 and I will definitely repurchase it!

as I like to use many different products because there is always something new to try and test I also have different Kiehls products for day and night. Every other night I use the Over Night Biological Peel and the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and if I needed extra care I used the Centella Recovery Skin Salve on top of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

now I wanna introduce my NEW products – I got the Ultra Light Daily Defense SPF 50 – a super light sunscreen for under the foundation. The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution – I have applied it under the Midnight Recovery Concentrate but I have only used it twice ever since. I looooove the texture. Its a funny gel that instantly is being absorbed by the skin with a very fresh fragrance. I will continue to use it and will get back to you about it and explain you in detail what it did or what it didnt do at all for me! I also got two luxury samples of the Skin Rescuer and the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream. I am wearing the skin rescuer at night over the Midnight Recovery Concentrate together with the eye cream. I like both of them so far and will continue to use them until they are empty and will then make a decision to either buy them or not. we will see 🙂 during the day I am still using the Clinique Superdefense SPF20 but it will only last for a week or two. so I might really start using the Skin Rescuer also during the day and not only at night on top of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

She has normal skin with dry patches and likes creams that are not too heavy – so the gel texture is perfect for her. I prefere a creamier texture and thats why I started using the Crème Radieuse. so far we both like the Gel and Crème. Its easy to apply and it works great with Foundation and BB Creams. My main problems are my dry feet and heels. So the pedix FEET Heel Smoothing Stick is perfect for that! The product claims: “Its the ideal treatment for targeted relief of dry, cracked heels. Active ingredients like Panthenol, Allantoin and Urea immediately care for the skin and protect against new formation callus.” I have started to use this stick every other night and I can already feel a difference the morning after.

What do I do before I apply the stick? I use the new TWEEZERMAN SoleMate Tools. It consists of 2 tools: a File and a Smoother. Soak your feet in lukewarm water, then scrub with Tweezerman’s Sole Mate Foot File and Smoother.

When I apply the herbbags at night, they are dry and have a rather light beige color. In the morning when I remove the pads, the herbbag is rather wet and turned almost black. So something is happening over night!

this month it will be all about BEAUTY PRODUCT BESTSELLERS previously I have showed you the Bestellers of L’Occitane and The Body Shop , M.A.C and today I will show you 2 of the Estée Lauder Bestseller products.

an alltime favourite of my mom, #1 Advanced Night Repair. She has been using this for at least 6 or more years and I can really see the effect it has to her skin. so when I read that Advanced Night Repair is among the bestselling products of Estée Lauder it really made me curious and I had to try it out myself. let me tell you, this is a magic product that will smoothen and soften your skin while you are asleep – not only smooth and soft it makes you look very fresh! #2 Double Wear foundation – aww.. this is one of my favourite foundations, it stays in place and leaves a nice finish. I apply it either with a foundation brush or with my fingers. the only thing I would change about this product is the design. I really miss a dispenser. the bottle opens with a lid and has no pumpsystem or so – therefore I think its not the easiest foundation for on the way.

this month it will be all about BEAUTY PRODUCT BESTSELLERS previously I have showed you the Bestellers of L’Occitane and The Body Shop and today I am going to show you the Bestsellers of M.A.C cosmeticsc.

red lips, I looove red lips, ergo I also love red lipsticks and my favourite red lipstick is one of the Besteller products by M.A.C – #1 “Ruby Woo” lipstick – a wonderful matte red. My third step of my skin routine in the morning is to apply primer, of course not every day but when I ll be out all day or if I have a photoshooting I use the #2 Prep & Prime Natural Radiance Base Visage – it makes my skin very even and leaves a perfect base for my foundation. After applying foundation I use concealer around my nose and on the red parts of my cheeks (couperose) – #3 Mineralize Concealer is the bestselling concealer by M.A.C and I can only use it around my cheeks and nose as it is too dry for under my eyes. I tried it several times but it always leaves very thin dry lines around my eyes.. and ofcourse I dont like that 🙂 so if you have rather oily skin around your eyes I would totally recommend this concealer. aaaww, the #4 Mineralize Rich lipstick in the shade “All Out Gorgeous” is sooo pretty!! I can not get enough of this color. As many of you might know I am a huge fan of bright lips so I totally agree with all the other ladies who make this product a bestseller. Do you use powder foundation? #5 Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation will be your favourite, I am sure about that. Personally I prefere to use liquid foundation as I dont like a too matte powdery finish on my dry skin. but I love to use it to set my bright lipsticks. An all time favourite of mine is the #6 Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder. I use it every day to set my foundation.

These are the BESTSELLER products by L’OCCITANE. As I told you in my previous post this month is all about BEAUTY BESTSELLERS. Let me tell you a little bit about these amamzing products.

I have colored hair and I used #1 Eclat & Soin Couleur Shampoo for a couple of hairwashes and I really must say its an amazing product. Mostly herbal products do not latter but the Eclat & Soin Couleur smells really good and latters. As some of you may already know I have very dry skin and therefore I m always looking for rich body creams or butters. #2 Concentre de lait AMANDE is a perfect cream for dry skin. It smells delicious and it moisturizes and absorbs very fast. I use it allover my body and I can get dressed immediately without feeling greasy or so. Some weeks ago I posted something about handcreams, the post was caled “things I hardly use but I should” there I already featured the #3 Creme Mains Rose Heart with 20% Shea Butter. let me tell you something about my daily skin routine

I have very sensitive skin and couperose parts on my cheeks which make me look very healthy. I was in need of a new cleanser and cream and strolled thru Manor in Basel looking for something new. And then I stopped at the KIEHLS booth and was introduced to their line for sensitive skin. CANTELLA SKIN CALMING FACIAL CLEANSER and CANTELLA RECOVERY SKIN SALVE – because I am always so curious about everything I had to buy them and see what they would do to my skin.

so I went home and tried it and really like the effect it had to my irritated redish skin. and after a couple of weeks I used the last drops of my LANCOME toner and went back to the Manor KIEHLS booth in order to check whether they have a suiting toner for me – and they did – CALENDULA HERBAL EXTRACT TONER alcohol free. Amanda, the lady who works at the KIEHLS booth checked my skin and asked me what kind of peeling/exfoliating I am using, well, because of my cuperose and sensitive skin I was not happy with the peelings I have tried so far because they often gave me a uncomfortable feeling or they made my skin look even more red. Amanda introduced me to the OVER NIGHT BIOLOGICAL PEEL which works without water. so again I went home and tried them for several days and again I was very happy with what I bought. As a thank you present I got 3 sample sizes of ROSA ARCTICA, SUPER MULTI CORRECTIVE CREAM and the SKIN RESCUER STRESS MINIMIZING DAILY HYDRATOR.

my regimen for day and night

I clean my face with the CANTELLA SKIN CALMING FACIAL CLEANSER either with water or with a damp washcloths afterwards I use the CALENDULA HERBAL EXTRACT TONER with a cotton pad and then use the CANTELLA RECOVERY SKIN SALVE or the SKIN RESCUER STRESS MINIMIZING DAILY HYDRATOR – I do that day and night – and every second night I use the OVER NIGHT BIOLOGICAL PEEL.
the products really even out my skin tone and the peeling also reduces the size of my pores – I am super happy with KIEHLS.

what do I want to check next? the MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE – I only heard good things about it and will give it a try!
