ooh wow – thats exactly what my hair needs at the moment. I need some deep moisturizing hair treatments for my rather damaged dyed hair. there are three new oils and each of them has a very specific purpose. I started using the one for colored hair and thats also so far the only one I have tested out of the three. so lets start with the one for dyed hair.

so now I have shared all the information that I found and I have to say that I really like the one for color treated hair. it nourishes my dry ends and makes my hair look healthy and shiny. so this one I can def recommend. lets see what I think about the other oils, I might ask a friend to test one of them as I still have the REDKEN hair diamond oil and the perfumed oil by Kérastase from the chronologiste collection.
I am sure some of you might wonder why this post is in the lifestyle category. so let’s consider having a nice and soft skin as a lifestyle. I do and I wish you would agree. : ) body scrubs, exfoliators or peelings are basically the same, there are just different names used. try to use one where there are no plastic balls involved because it is not good for the planet and also not good for your skin.
M.ASAM has amazing body scrubs and I have tested some and I gotta to say: I found a favorite among them. my favorite one is called BROWN SUGAR. unfortunately I could not find it anymore on their online shop, but they have a very similar one that you can check here >> another one I have tried by M.ASAM is called 2015 and is a very nice slightly powdery fragranced scrub. the last one I have tried by them is called DREAM OF ROSES and I was only able to find the body cream – check here >> the cool thing about M.ASAM is that they sell scrubs and creams from the same fragrance and line. after the peeling I love using the same fragranced cream.

at M.ASAM you can customize the stick on label by adding text to the two bottom lines. also there are options to choose different background images. check the example here >> this makes it a very great CHRISTMAS present!
in the image above you can see a blue scrub (top) thats the one by CLINIQUE and I have used that one in summer a lot, it is a cool and fresh body scrub called SPARKLE SKIN BODY EXFOLIATOR this product is great for men and women as it has no fragrance. the other two are by M.ASAM. the middle one is DREAM OF ROSES and the bottom one is BROWN SUGAR. unforutnately I used up the 2015 body scrub already during summer but you can see the packaging in the photo below. for sure I will be talking about it in my next EMPTIES video on youtube.
how often and what for?
I use a body scrub every other day. in summer I like a cooling fresh one and in winter I like a nice warm scented one. in spring I use body scrubs before fake tanning but in general I think it is great to remove the old dead pieces of skin. after showering with a body scrub my skin feels amazingly soft and smooth. especially my ellbow, knees and heels like an extra scrub. body scrubs are great for men and women and I am sure that you will find something nice for you.

what a color – OMG – I was first worried that it s gonna stain my bath tub but nope it didnt! a great bath for relaxing, perfect before going to bed.

it promises to breath deeply and recharge relaxation and this with the help of pine and fir
another one that is perfect before going to bed, it relaxed me completely and I had an amazingly deep sleep. the color of the water is a nice subtle green, and it didnt stain my bath tub, yay!
ENTSPANNUNG PUR (pure relaxation)
it promises to calm one down with help of melissa
with help of the blue water I completely shut down and almost fell asleep in the tub. so also this bugger is perfect before sleeping and also didnt stain my tub.
JUNGBRUNNEN (fountain of youth)
it promises to stimulate the senses and new drive with helo of pomegranate and amaranth oil
so far this is the only one that I would not recommend using before sleeping. its one to start the weekend, perfect for a morning bath. look at the color, it is even brighter than the first one and also didnt stain my tub.
overall I am very very pleased with the KNEIPP® Badekristalle and I will try out more of them. I am a bath tub person and I love my weekend baths. before I was using either LUSH or the DRESDNER essence, read more about them here >> and here >> I found them at MIGROS and MUELLER and they cost between 1.50 CHF and 1.70 CHF) the variety is huge, lets see what I end up next with. stay tuned. I have only started using this sunscreen last week and I gotta admit its the best I have ever tried. It has no perfumes, no mineral oils, no emulsifiers, no preservatives and the best thing: water-resistant! I use it once a day in the morning and it lasts all day. Usually I wear SPF50 but now that I am a bit more tanned I think I am absolutely fine with SPF30.
this is my go to product for the face. I apply it every morning in summer before leaving the house. my skin is very sensitive and I have red parts on my cheeks thats why I need to protect my skin even more.

I have only tried this for a couple of times and I like what it does. I spray it in the morning before tanning or being in the sun all over my hair. It has the perfect travelsize!
as every year I wanna show you some awesome sun products – today we lay the focus on APRES SOILEIL by LANCASTER and their collection is called TAN MAXIMIZER. the one above is for the face and can be applied directly after tanning. it moisturizes the sunkissed skin and helps to achieve an even nice tan. the one below is for the body and I feel that this one has a bit of a cooling effect, a very light one though. the one below is a really cooling one and so far I have only used the spray on my legs, but I am looking forward to spraying my entire body after a long hot day in the sun with this cooling mist.
and then there is something nice for the whole day – a summer fragrance by LANCASTER and it totally smells like summer holiday – SOLE DI CAPRI. awww, CPARI is on my MUST SEE list..

thank you ROBERTO CAVALLI I finally found a fragrance of yours that I really like. I dont know if that is just me but all the CAVALLI fragrances before were too sweet and fruity for me. BUT this one has the right amount of freshness that I seek in a perfume. I am not really great with describing scents so I think the best thing to do is go to the next shop like MANOR or GLOBUS and check it out for yourself. I am now enjoying the beautiful sun and I am almost feeling like I am inside the PARADISO.
yes! the time has come – I am getting ready for spring and summer! and this year I have found some nice little helpers for my skin. in summer my skin is more exposed to sunlight and I am wearing nice short dresses and I wanna be sure to have a very nice, soft and even skin without any redness, stretchmarks or dents! so therefore I am drinking a lot of tea and water to get rid off any toxines and waste! that is step one and very crucial for a healthy diet and a fit body! I am a vegetarian since I was a baby and never liked meat so I already eat a lot of veggies. lately I have tried to eat a seasonal diet and I gotta tell you that is NOT easy for a person living in switzerland and craving AVOCADOS – ORANGES and LEMONS : ) so every now and then I had to make an exception and bought some delicious avocados, lemons and oranges. I try to mix vegetables, carbs and proteins. my favorite dish is rice with beans and different vegetables – I could eat that every day! a well-balanced diet is step two to a healthy body! mmhhmm. I think it is time to show you some of my lovely dishes that I am cooking all the time. stay tuned. now back to the healthy lifestyle. drinking enough and eating a well-balanced diet are key to a nice and fit body. the industry is showing us so many different things to stay in shape and one could spend hundreds of franks on different products. and thats why I wanna show you these 3 awesome products that I have found at MIGROS!

YAY – I got a new bodymilk and handcream by NEUTROGENA. visibly renew it is called and I love bodycream with dispensers because I feel it is a lot easier to apply. I have used the bodymilk every morning after showering instead of my DOVE body lotion for the last two weeks and I gotta say they are equally nice and I could not tell which one I like better or not. also with regard to price they are both about the same. the bodymilk and the handcram contain collagen and stimulating minerals and it is made for dry to very dry skin. check √ I have super dry skin especially in winter and even though my calendar says april second it still is very cold and windy outside. I guess I was a bit too optimistic when I have put all my winter clothes away two weeks ago 🙂 time for layering spring and summer clothes I really need some color and hopefully the sun will be out soon.
this mornig I was at the hospital because I woke up with a very swollen left eye. now several hours later I am back at home and I good good news it is nothing bad: I have an inflamed sebaceous gland and I am now using eydrops and eyecream for the next 10 days that also means no eyemakeup for the next days 🙁 and that really sucks as I got some really cool products for the blog to use and play around with.. an awesome new blue eyeliner by SISLEY and the Cinderella maccosmetics collection and and and – this has got to wait for my eye to heal <3
unfortunately I have not tried the handcream yet as I am still using my L’Occitane and I am sure that I will be using that for quiet some time in the future as I have a giant tube. so I will try to give it to one of my dear readers – so incase you read that and you are interested please leave me either a comment or leave me a message.
something new by M.ASAM! I dont know why but somehow I didnt know anything about the brand M.ASAM and was super happy to learn more about it on the beautypress event in ZH. I love body creams and scrubs and when I discovered their range of products I knew what would make me happy! they have different fragrances with matching peeling, body cream and perfume. thats exactly the way I like it too, one fragrance for all the things! I love roses and so I was overwhelmed that I got one of the the dream of roses body cream in my press bag 🙂 and I also got the 2015 a rather sweet and almondy scented body exfoliant. unfortunately I didnt have the chance to test them yet as I am using up some other products first. when I test something I really wanna use the product for a while and like this I can also see what it does to my skin over a certain amount of time.
recently I have started to make youtube videos and one of my subjects is EMPTIES – I ramble about my empty products and tell you if I had repurchased it or not. and that is another reason why I have not tested the M.ASAM products yet I wanna empty all my body creams and body scrubs first and then I’ll start to use the DREAM OF ROSES body cream and 2015 body exfoliant!

it is time to test some beauty products and feel like a pampered princess. so what is most important to start spring?

exfoliating and scrubbing to get rid of dead skin and to prepare for an
awesome looking fake tan! I use many different products to exfoliate for
example one from the body shop, one from Clinique, one from Palmolive
and one by M.Asam they are all good and do what they need to.
after I exfoliated my skin it is time to moisturize my ankles, feet, ellbows and knees – these are all rather dry parts of the body and we dont want them to stick out and be darker.
start with the legs and work your way up by using the mitt – apply only what is left on the mitt as a last step to ellbows, feet, knees and ankles. leave on for ONE hour for a rather light tan – TWO hours of a medium tan and THREE hours for a dark tan. I did it last week for the first time and I was quiet scared and only left it for 45 minutes but the result was gorgeous. I got some nice compliments on the tan on my belly and this made me courageous enough to give it a second try and leave it for ONE hour 🙂 the tan gradually fades and there are no lines, no spots and no streaks! so I did it last night and this morning I woke up with a nicely tanned body – YAY!
so far I have used the LANCASTER products and I really like the ones for the face and I think I will use them both – the ST.TROPEZ for the body and the LANCASTER for the face – ready for spring and ready to show some legs!

I went shopping at LUSH and here is what I came home with! I am a HUGE lush fan and always end up buying too many nice things! the solid shampoos are such an amazing product and perfect for travelling. another huge favorite of mine are rose scented products like the awesome limited edition shower gel (I really hope they will continue this line!) and the body conditioner – together they are a dream team and a wise person once said: “NEVER CHANGE A WINNING TEAM.”

the zalando summerhouse was a blast, I can not say it often enough: it really was a blast. I met lovely bloggerfriends and was able to relax the entire weekend in a lovely castle called HERZFELDE in the beautiful nowhere of Brandenburg, Germany. #lorealparisde was in charge of hair and makeup and I chose the brow focused look and a simple hairstyle. Actually there were 3 hairstyles to choose from but seriously I didnt like any of them and I guess my hair must have been a lot longer for the planned hair do’s. big hair was the theme and lots of backcombing teasing and lots of hairspray, all of these things are not really my cup of tea 🙂 anyway, I was happy that I was able to straighten my hair and wear the lovely brow focused makeup. I will soon show you pictures of my complete look, stay tuned!
