CHIC FOR FALL
ART BASEL OUTFIT
finally I can show you my ART BASEL outfit and the cool thing for you is that the pieces are on SALE now – yay. I found this lovely jersey dress by ARMANI JEANS and the super comfy flat shoes by MARCO TOZZI. the dress is now 90 CHF instead of 175 CHF and the shoes are 23 CHF instead of 41 CHF – thats a nice deal!
I got back from my one week vacation in sicily, castellammare del golfo to be precise, and oh boy it was super nice there. I miss the beach already… but I need to get back to work – so many nice things out there that I wanna feature on my blog. lots of ART BASEL posts will be following and soon also my SICILY GUIDE for CASTELLAMMARE DEL GOLFO – stay tuned.

last weekend I was in KARLSRUHE for the #kbreise15 and it was a blast. I met lots of nice bloggers and saw many nice things. I already put all my impressions in one post and soon there will be part two of the days in BASEL, where I actually wanted to blog about the new awesome MARLENE DUMAS exhibition but due to photoright issues I will focus on the guy with the special story about a remote island that might not even exist and spices that bring you around the world. stay tuned for that. until then I wanna show you my new outfit inspiration, what do you think of the combination of red and brown? and now you might wonder why I am so happy, for sure not about the weather! no, I am happy because I got all my tickets and invitation ready for next week and at the moment I am deciding what to wear. so many options I bet you know what I mean. I have stuff! and some things are so old, like this red GUESS dress that I am wearing today. I bought it in the US in 2003! some things are meant to last! : )

CRISS CROSS moments!
for the readers among you that remember criss cross and how they wore their pants the wrong way around I had exactly such a moment when I was wearing this outfit last week. 🙂
the gorgeous black PARENTI’S cashemere sweater has a HUGE V-neck and I really didnt feel like wearing a top below or taping the sweater to my boobs – so I took a criss cross decision and wore the sweater the wrong way around and it actually didnt feel so bad at all and also it didnt look too bad either. for future times I would totally do it the same way!

another outfit on the blog, this time I am layering my green fluffy funny COMME DES GARCONS jacket by JUNYA WATANABE with the super warm down jacket by C&A (fair down production – read more here >>) this look is a very casual one with a big mix of high and low end clothes. something I love to do is mixing styles and different brands – how boring would it look to wear a head to toe GUCCI outfit – no thanks!

…and how I spend my sunday afternoon
I wanna present you my lovely grey bag called BOMBATA. it fits my ipad or it could also fit a laptop and thats what it is actually meant to be for – a business bag. BUT of course I wouldnt like a bag only for one purpose so I decided to make the BOMBATA business bag a bit more fashion 🙂 by wearing it like a normal bag.
I wore my grey BOMBATA yesterday and I have spent such a lovely afternoon in the sun at KABAR in Basel. sooo wonderful that October brings such nice weather! and did you spot my big watch? isnt it a super nice piece? Its made and designed by ADVOLAT a swiss watch brand based in Basel. I will soon show you the whole outfit. stay tuned. xx

I love to mix as you may know from previous posts and therefor its no wonder that I am mixing flowers and sneakers with a rather elegant skirt.
The very nice thing with this outfit is that the colors from the flowers on my cardigan are almost the same as the color of my nike free sneakers.
