I visited Design Miami Basel and I absolutely fell in love with the pieces by TOM PRICE at the Victor Hunt Designart Dealers booth. I took so many photos of his work and I decided to share as many as possible with you. in fact I have to say that I actually like (my) photos a lot better than the actual poles. I dont like the shape of the work but I am very much fascinated by the inside and all the amazing encounters of different colors and materials.
synthesis is the study of a dialogue between two contrasting materials – resin and tar – and their negotiation for space and identity when forced to become a single unified entity. petal-like cracks and fissures formed through a careful manipulation of the catalysing process of the resin cluster and interact with amorphous invasive bodies of tar, which loom – apparently suspended in space. the tar initially appears densely black, almost light-absorbent, but upon closer inspection, a network of fine green vapour trails can be seen drifting from a surface partially melted by the exothermic reaction of the curing resin. as the tar heats it expands, searching for pathways within the resin and rushes to claim open fissures, creating wafer thin golden slivers of coral-like protuberances. the effects of the synthesis of these two disparate elements – one black and dense; the other clear and liquid – results in a riot of colour and explosive formations that engage on both a macro and micro level.
something from the US – and I am talking about the new wetnwild eyeshadow palette in FLORAL VALUES! this is the perfect palette for spring and I was already playing around with it for the first time this very morning and I gotta say I am impressed by the colors – they can be applied in a more subtle way and in a very bold colorful way and I think thats something very important as not every day is the same day and ones mood is changing with the wardrobe and maybe with the weather so we want to be able to have some freedom!
I made a tiny YT video about my new palette and for the ones that have not visited my channel yet now would be a good moment!
I dunno if I should mix this palette with the new TOLEDO violetwink palette by maccosmetics. what do you think? they might go perfectly together as they both have a nice mix of rosy, pinkish lavender colors. I am so ready for spring!
here you can see the light subtle swatches and the more bold swatches and this makes the 5 eyeshadow an actual 10 eyeshadow palette!
last week I was invited to the press conference of Estée Lauder in Basel at the Radisson Blu Hotel. as every time the ladies from Estée Lauder prepare a lovely room and inform us about the latest news and what has happened during the year. thank you very much for inviting me! there are many new products and honestly I have no idea where to start 🙂 so I will just quickly name the products from left to right and will get back to you later with individual reviews and first impressions about each product. I left out the new PURE COLOR VELVET nailpolishes and will show them to you in a separate blogpost!
today I am wearing the new ENLIGHTEN cream, the new EE Cream and the PURE COLOR ENVY lipstick in the shade 260 eccentric and I am very happy. the EE cream leaves a nice dewy finish and makes me look about 5 years younger 😉 I will upload some photos to my instagram later. have a look! xx

LADIES & GENTLEMEN.. I have a wonderful change to announce – I fell in love with the M.A.C Face & Body Foundation and use it instead of the M.A.C. Mineralize Foundation.
The best thing about the F&B Foundation is the finish, it has such a nice light texture. Once applied it looks very natural and can be build up by adding more layers for more coverage.
I use my fingers or a sponge to apply instead of my M.A.C. 187 brush and think it gave me way better results. The F&B Foundation really starts to become like a moisturizer when applied to face – perfect for my wintery dry skin!
Which foundation are you using and why do you love it? And let me know which brush you use to apply foundation or if you also use your fingers for certain products. Please leave a comment – sharing is caring xx
