MAKE A STATEMENT – wear a hat and be real!

yes, be real and feel unique! wear your hat with style and honor! combine and mix different styles and create something new! In our case it is: a felt hat, lots of jewelry and a burgundy matte dark lip!

we made a statement – what about YOU?

I had so much fun shooting this look – thank you Jaswant and Simone!

make a STATEMENT

be unique, stand out, embrace yourself and feel beautiful with LARA PATRIZIA VOGT earrings! I found my special pair of statement earrings via ETSY and was able to meet the creator of these gorgeous pieces and ask her 3 questions. thank you Lara, it was wonderful to meet you!

INTERVIEW

#what inspired you to make jewelry?

Colors and large pieces of jewelry have fascinated me ever since. One day my heavenly friends asked me to create them by myself.I greatly enjoy to combine colors, to make them flow into each other. I love to feel them, smell them, honor them. For me, it feels like embracing a rainbow.

And as Kandinsky said:

“The deeper the colors become, the more strongly they call man towards the infinite, awakening in him a desire for the pure and, finally, for the supernatural.”

#what kind of materials do you use?

I use resin and polymer clay for the frames, pearls, rhinestones, self-printed images, pigments and much time and patience. I need about two hours to create one pair of earrings.

#are these unique earrings?

Yes!  As every living being is unique, all of my earrings are one of a kind.

I also love custom orders. You can choose the color of the frame, the image and the pearls or rhinestones and between pierced (stud) earrings, clip-ons or hanging earrings. The earrings are very lightweight and thus comfortable to wear. I also create necklaces and smaller earrings.

MASK TIME

SISLEY PARIS
“masques”

I am such a huge mask lover and apply them 2 to 4 times a week. One of my favorite makeUp artists, Lisa Eldridge recommended the SISLEY masques for dry skin and long haul flights! So when I was sitting in the Airbus 380 on my way to San Francisco I used a sample of the SISLEY EXPRESS FLOWER GEL and I loved it. Now let me introduce 4 different face masks by SISLEY PARIS – lets start from left to right!

#EXPRESS FLOWER GEL hydrating, toning and firming mask
Apply all over face, except eye area, after 3 minutes blot to absorb excess. do not rinse off. hydrates tones and softens the skin!

#RADIANT GLOW EXPRESS MASK cleansing with red clay
Apply all over face, except eye area, absorbs impurities and deep-cleanses the skin. Gives an instant radiance boost. Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes and rinse with water!

#BLACK ROSE CREAM MASK smoothing, plumbing, brightening
Apply all over face, except eye area, 2 to 3 times a week. wipe away any excess after 10 to 15 minutes!

#FACIAL MASK with linden blossom
Apply all over face, except eye area, once or twice a week. this mask helps to relax and smooth the face. Remove with lukewarm water after 20 minutes.

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MASK is the #BLACK ROSE CREAM MASK I seriously want to apply this mask every night 🙂 I prefere masks where you do not have to rinse off excess with water because I apply the mask before going to bed and leave it on during my sleep.

are you a mask lover too? which products do you use and recommend?

I LOVE IT

LADIES & GENTLEMEN.. I have a wonderful change to announce – I fell in love with the M.A.C Face & Body Foundation and use it instead of the M.A.C. Mineralize Foundation.

The best thing about the F&B Foundation is the finish, it has such a nice light texture. Once applied it looks very natural and can be build up by adding more layers for more coverage.

I use my fingers or a sponge to apply instead of my M.A.C. 187 brush and think it gave me way better results. The F&B Foundation really starts to become like a moisturizer when applied to face – perfect for my wintery dry skin!

Which foundation are you using and why do you love it? And let me know which brush you use to apply foundation or if you also use your fingers for certain products. Please leave a comment – sharing is caring xx

M.A.C blogger event

OOH DEARS – last night I had so much fun at the M.A.C. bloggers event at HILTL in Zurich.

I met wonderful swiss bloggers and memorized some very useful makeUp tricks. The focus of the workshop was lashes – yeah, lashes became really big these days – especially the fakelashes. I noticed that I have seen way more women wearing fakelashes on a daily base than I did in earlier times. So there is a trend for big expressive lashes. People who know me they know that I very rarley use mascara myself 🙂 but for special occasion I love to wear a dramatic eyemakeup but for my everyday look I will always go with a bright lip instead of a dramatic eyelook.

I was sitting next to FABIENNE from swissmakeupblog.chand across from MIA miaslittlecorner.blogspot.ch and LARISSA from www.laruemarie.com and there was MELANIE a M.A.C. makeUp artist which helped me a lot. thanks girls! It was a blast!

On the way back to Basel I was traveling with lovely MIA and I asked her this question: “If you can only take one makeUp product with you – what would you pick?” She thought about it for a moment and answered “concealer” – without concealer I look tired. I think its so interesting to get to know other girls opinion about their faces and makeUp looks. If I had to answer the question I asked her I would of course pick a bright lipstick because I look very boring with no color in my face 🙂

thank you M.A.C. for the lovely presents – I will soon show you what I got and will also share some amazing news regarding M.A.C. – all I can say for now is RIRI <3

I took a lot of notes from the helpful tricks all the bloggers shared and I will soon post a M.A.C. bloggers events tricks special and share all my notes with y’all. stay tuned! xx
