ART WEEK 2015 – SCHEDULE & OUTFITS

the ART Basel week is over and I had such a good time. once again my dear friends from the netherlands were here and this year Justin showed a german artist
SEBASTIAN WEGGLER at his TEN HAAF PROJECTS gallery space inside VOLTA11.
my schedule was tight especially the first three days were very intense, lots of ART lots of DESIGN and lots of PARTYING.

monday I started with VOLTA11 and ART UNLIMITED and enjoyed myself at the LISTE OPENING PARTY at VOLKSHAUS. tuesday I had breakfast at the Rolls Royce art space inside ELISABETHEN KIRCHE with Isaac Julien and his so very cool video installations from iceland – read more about the project here. and later on I went to see DESIGN MIAMI BASEL and also saw the AUDEMARS PIGUET fireflies installation by ROBIN MEIER – I also blogged about that project – more here. in the evening we had an awesome party on DAS SCHIFF by DESIGN MIAMI BASEL and PERROTIN where we all met TAKESHI MURAKAMI and took funny photos with his staff. wednesday I started my day with DAVIDOFF and went to ART BASEL and SCOPE. later on we had a super nice time at VITRA – we were so lucky that it did not rain that day. thursday I had time to see ART BASEL again but only for a short time as I had to go home and see whether the delivery guy had brought my beautiful dresses by IOANA CIAOLACU for thursday and friday night. thursday night was BASEL NACHT where I was one of the hosts by VOLTA11 and I planned to wear the gorgeous red printed silk dress that had not arrived until fifteen minutes before the start of BASEL NACHT 🙂 but it was absolutely worth to wait for it. friday I had time to see ART BASEL and DESIGN MIAMI again and then spent a wonderful evening at Fondation Beyeler. afterwards we all met at CAMPARI CLUB at KUNSTHALLE.
saturday I had time to see LISTE ART UNLIMITED, DESIGN MIAMI and THE SOLO PROJECT and then went back to VOLTA. sunday I went to SCOPE where I have found something really nice. anyway, I will soon upload all the photos I took during the week and I will also tell you about the guy with the spices at Fondation Beyeler park. stay tuned for more and now I wanna show you some of my outfits during ART BASEL.

JUNE is here and the temperatures dropped 15 ° C lets hope for better weather during ART Basel. well today I was wearing my comfy new grey pants with the new XXL hat and layering helped. the pants where on SALE for 5 CHF – what a bargain! the hat is for the hot summer days – I cant wait!

mixing different greys is one of my favorite things and I realized that I have a ton of grey clothes. at the moment I am putting together my outfits for the ART BASEL week and I also found a wonderful dress by ARMANI JEANS via zalando.ch – have a look here >>

I am so in love with my new XXL hat : ) and I have already worn it on a sunny day at the rhein. people gave me funny looks but thats not my problem. anyway I hope this outfit was inspiring and lets see what tomorrows forecast brings. HAPPY TUESDAY!

PINK BOMB

last week I went to the STÜCKI shopping center in basel and it is one of these places where I go with my mom, we always have a nice parkingspot right in front of the entrance and we can talk about private stuff, grab a delicious juice and walk around. there is hardly anybody in the shopping center, ever since it has opened so many shops have closed and half of the second floor is closed.. so it is quiet a drag to see that but really cool to go shopping as you have all the space for yourself and there will be always a free changing room : ) so when I was there last week I saw the big SALE sign at the WE shop and below there was this cool rosa dress for 15 CHF – what a pink bomb bargain! this made me so happy that I had to dance a little bit for you!

the dress i made out of polyester but it feels super soft and comfortable – it is one of these dresses that you put on and you are ready to go. BUT you of course you would have to like pink. for the people from BASEL in case you like the dress – go to the WE shop at STÜCKI they still had a bout 10 to 15 dresses there 🙂 I mean for 15 CHF thats an awesome price!

as you can see I have recovered from my bike accident and now I have to wait for the bruises to heal. excuse my knee and my elbow – I didnt feel like photoshopping it : ) I hope you all have a nice sunday and try to enjoy this long weekend to the max.in case you are bored then have a look at the different categories (fashion / design / beauty / lifestyle / events / art / men / social media) and I am sure you will find some nice things there. enjoy! DIY MOMENT

so let me start with the amazing news first: I am going to Paris on Monday early in the morning and will stay until tuesday night. for that very occasion I was shopping for a nice dress. Indeed I found one and also bought it but I absolutely didnt like the buttons. I knew I had to change them and was not so sure what kind of buttons to get. I have a huge collections of single buttons that I collect from dresses and blouses but somehow I didnt want to put different buttons on that white lace blouse dress. and then I found the right pair. here you can see the new and the old buttons, what do you think? isnt it a super nice upgrade for the dress?

I will soon tell you more details about my trip to Paris and hope to share many nice photos with you. so I was thinking what to pack for a two day trip to Paris? I decided to travel with the black jumpsuit and my chunky sandals and to wear the white lace dress with the wooden sandals for the event. also I wanna bring my brown and my black sunglasses and also the beige DKNY bag will work for both outfits. thats what I think now but lets see how it will turn out in the end 🙂 packing is not my most favorite thing to do as I always have the tendency to bring too much. thats why I am very pround of my very basic packing approach!

I also have some amazing new red/brown pants that I could wear for the way back but I am not sure with what to wear them. lets see, more infos coming soon. X

HAPPY EASTER

so yesterday after waking up with an even more swollen eye than the day before I decided to stay in bed and wait for better times – and then the sun came out and I just had to go out for a walk. I was at the rhein and strolled around kleinbasel and was surprised to see so many people 🙂

denim jacket weather I WISH 🙂 but with layering its possible! I am wearing my lovely new cashmere dress for the first time. actually it was my plan to not be wearing tights anymore from easter on BUT the wind made me wear some transparent ones because I was not in the mood to freeze to
death 🙂

everything! I think I will change the laces to black #todolist
