Migros has launched something new – the ZOÉ ultrasensitive SOIN DE JOUR SPF 15 anti age – SOIN 24 h – SOIN CONTOUR DES YEUX – recommended by AHA! the allergy service.
I havent had the time to test them yet but it is for sure on my to do list and as I have rather sensitive skin this line might be the perfect thing for me. in case you have tried it already please let me know what you think about it. sharing is caring, right?

It has a lovely texture and a rather light coverage. I love BB Creams and I love high SPF protection and here I have found the perfect combo. A BB Cream with SPF 50!
KIEHL’S Micro Blur Skin Perfector
Apply this and you are ready to go, this product immediately blurs all my imperfections into oblivion! I have to say I am very much impressed! I use it after my Creme and Foundation and wow I can really see a before/after effect. I hope to be able to catch this on camera and show you.

I was at the pressconference of SHISEIDO in Zurich in June 2014 and I got a lot of information regarding the newest product: ULTIMUNE that will be launched in fall 2014! so what I learned is that the power of the skin lies in the skins immunity and that it is being dammaged by environmental threats and stress and emotional stress. I have been using SHISEIDO ULTIMUNE for the last thee weeks and I really like it.I will continue to use it and will get back to you and will tell you more.

Huile Precieuse a la Rose Noire by Sisley Paris will be available in September 2014. Thank you for inviting me to the pressconference in Zürich, it was such a nice day at the Dolder Grand.
as I am already a fan of the masque creme a la rose noire by sisley I was very excited to see that the soon to be launched product was also containing black rose. I am very happy to be able to test this product before it is available in the stores and I have been using it for the last couple of weeks and I really really love it! I use this precious face oil every other day and night and I think I will even love it more in winter when my skin is dryer. It can be used alone or under the moisturizer day and/or night.

and I got a few pieces to play with. This morning I used the BRED FOR BEAUTY BEAUTY POWDER BLUSH and the MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURAL SUN POWER! wow! these products are totally made for me!

I finally found the time to tell you about some amazing new things. let me start from left to right. a couple of weeks ago I was invited to ZH to the Blaue Ente Restaurant to attend the L’Occitane Aromachologie presentation. thank you very much for having me there and for the amazing goodiebag. so whats new from their side. ?? As we know that they support many fairtrade projects and work animal cruelty free it doesnt surprise me that they have decided to switch from plastic to glass containers. indeed, glass is a lot easier to recycle – also the looks of the bottles have a very vintage touch and all this truly underlines the visions of Olivier Baussan, the founder of L’Occitane.

one of my all time favorites is the Brume D’Oreiller Relaxante Spray. OMG – it makes my bed smell like a SPA! thats what I want, a nice, calm, good smelling place to spend relaxing hours of sleep and thats what you get with this product. my bottle is already half thru because I use it almost every night. I spritz a couple of times all over my bed, pillow and sheets and enjoy the natural fragrance and zzZZZZzzz
also I wanted to share with you my magazines that I have found at the KIOSK at the German railway station in Basel. BLONDE – WOHNREVUE – FRÄULEIN – which are your favorite magazines?
and then last but not least I wanna tell you about yesterdays SISLEY Paris presentation at the DOLDER GRAND in Zurich. ooh lala, what an amazing location. I felt like a princess and was eager to check out the new products by SISLEY. thanks so much for all the goodies. I am a fan of the eau tropical and I adore the Masque Creme a la Rose Noire. Have you tried the SUNLEYA sunscreen by SISLEY? I didnt do that yet but I will bring this little bugger to Ticino, yes I am spending the weekend in the Italian part of Switzerland. Cant wait!! antiox & night balance

its been a while since I have introduced you to the skinside beauty drink for either day or night and I have continued to drink it. I was very curious when I saw this product at GLOBUS in Basel and was eager to try it. well, what can I say, I still like the drink, its refreshing. I keep them in the fridge – the antiox for the day and the night balance for the night, as the name already implies 🙂 also in my previous post I have found it hard to judge this product. I dont believe that you can become beautiful by drinking these drinks but I feel that my skin is more even now. so it did something from the inside – impressive! thanks Julie for helping me take this photo! xx

SOMETHING NEW
Kiehl’s has presented the CALENDULA DEEP CLEANSING FOAMING FACE WASH with Calendula Flower Extract for normal to oily skin type and I was so lucky to get to test it for you. It totally fits my skins needs and I have used the Kiehl’s Centella Cleanser before – so I do have something to compare the product to. I have used it twice and I love it already thats what I can say so far. but I really need more time to be able to review the product. so I will get back to you about it. stay tuned.

my favorite TOM FORD products
As we dont have a Jelmoli in Basel and Manor nor Globus carry Tom Ford I always enjoy the moments in Zurich when I finally have time to pass by Jelmoli. And the last time I did that I walked out with an amazing product called shade and illuminate in 01 intensity one. oh dears, I love this piece. and ever since I have met Adam (MUA) during the fashionweek in paris I knew that I wanna own this product myself. Adam did an amazing job for the Nino Bollag show and made the models glow! so yes, I am very happy with it. Its not a cheap thing to buy and I dont really remember what I paid but have a look when you are in Jelmoli the next time. two other favorites are the springcollection CORAL BEACH nailpolish and the SWEET SPOT lipstick. both can be worn every day. I like the nailpolish on my toenails and the lipstick goes perfect with a bronzed summer look. Which are your favorite Tom Ford products?
IN THE SHOWER
in-shower is the new thing! I have tested the NIVEA in-shower lotions and milks and I got totally hooked. in winter I am feeling too cold to apply lotion and in summer I m too hot – so when I discovered these products I knew that this was exactly my thing.
so how to use it? first you use your normal showergel or creme or whatever you use to wash your body. once you are clean you can apply the in-shower lotion. make sure not to drop any product as it can be very slippery – so be aware! the in-shower body lotions are like a conditioner. you apply it once the body is clean and then rinse it off and ready you are. my skin is very dry and thats why I like the in-shower body milk (darkblue) the best.

KIEHL’S goodies
as I have already told you in my previous post the KIEHLS blogger meet and greet in Zurich was a blast. Ana from the Kiehls Team analyzed my skin and showed me products that would be perfect for me.
I already used Kiehls Centella Skin Calming Facial Cleanser to wash my face. After this step I used to apply the Calendula Herbal Extract Toner but as you can see in the photo above – its empty – so I am currently trying the Ultra Facial Toner – and I have to admit that I prefere the Calendula Toner 🙂 and I will definitely repurchase it!
as I like to use many different products because there is always something new to try and test I also have different Kiehls products for day and night. Every other night I use the Over Night Biological Peel and the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and if I needed extra care I used the Centella Recovery Skin Salve on top of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
now I wanna introduce my NEW products – I got the Ultra Light Daily Defense SPF 50 – a super light sunscreen for under the foundation. The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution – I have applied it under the Midnight Recovery Concentrate but I have only used it twice ever since. I looooove the texture. Its a funny gel that instantly is being absorbed by the skin with a very fresh fragrance. I will continue to use it and will get back to you about it and explain you in detail what it did or what it didnt do at all for me! I also got two luxury samples of the Skin Rescuer and the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream. I am wearing the skin rescuer at night over the Midnight Recovery Concentrate together with the eye cream. I like both of them so far and will continue to use them until they are empty and will then make a decision to either buy them or not. we will see 🙂 during the day I am still using the Clinique Superdefense SPF20 but it will only last for a week or two. so I might really start using the Skin Rescuer also during the day and not only at night on top of the Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

I have been using this corrective unclogging care which states – anti-imperfections and anti-marks for the last couple of weeks. the effaclar duo + is made for acne prone skin which I obviously dont have but I tend to have little facial daemons once a month – so thats the time when I am using this product everyday. I really like the consistency of the product, it is very light and leaves a matte finish. I am not sure if I am going to repurchase it so I will continue to use it and will get back to you when I know. stay tuned. xx

SPF 50 yes, I am not kidding. We all have to be careful with our skin! Some of you may say: but then you will not get tanned.. hmm, I will get my tan for sure, also with SPF 50, but I will also make sure that my skin still looks lovely when I am 40+

this weekend was the first time I have used these products as it finally was sunny again in Basel, Switzerland. On Saturday and Sunday I applied the #Anti-Ageing & Dark Spots Sun Sensitive Skin Uniform Tan Milk SPF50 to my arms and legs. It smells soooo good! Since years I am using the LANCASTER sun products and I m so attached to its smell. when I smell my skin it brings back my summerholiday memories from sunny California or beautiful Barcelona. It just instantly brings me into a happy summermood! my skin is very pale compared to how tanned I am in summer so I am thinking about trying the LANCASTER self tanning products. I will keep you updated about that. 🙂 so now back to the SUN CONTROL products. On Saturday I applied the #Anti-Wrinkles & Dark Spots Sun Sensitive Skin Radiant Glow Cream SPF50+ to my face and neck – the skin absorbs the cream really fast and it leaves a beautiful glow. Yesterday, Saturday I used the #Anti-Wrinkles & Dark Spots Sun Sensitive Skin Radiant Glow Fluid SPF50 allover my face and neck – and this will be my go-to Sun Screen for this Spring/Summer. I love the texture, its light and easy to apply under my foundation or BB Cream. As soon as my face is a bit tanned I dont wear foundation too often. I prefer to wear something lighter like a BB or CC Cream or sometimes I just use a bit of Bronzer and thats it! So I have to say that I am really happy with the results of these products. my favorites are the #Anti-Ageing & Dark Spots Sun Sensitive Skin Uniform Tan Milk SPF50 and #Anti-Wrinkles & Dark Spots Sun Sensitive Skin Radiant Glow Fluid SPF50 – I would definitely repurchase these two products!
tips and tricks!
I prefer to apply the sunscreen (body) before I get dressed, like this I make sure that none of the products gets on my clothes and I am also sure that the Sunscreen got absorbed by my skin before exposed to sunlight. I apply the Sunscreen (face) before my moisturizer. I read an interresting article on howstuffworks (link) and I came to the conclusion that it actually doesnt matter in which order you apply the moisturizer and sunscreen, as long as you use both.
